Song Exploder explores how songs were created and MGMT's Time To Pretend has an interesting story. It was actually created in 2001 but didn't receive acclaim until 2008. In this episode, MGMT members Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden talk about its dorm room origins and elaborate on the story of how it came to be a hit (and the album it was on). I love MGMT and found this episode really interesting.
