It would be better if there is a web or mac version.
Leo Tumwattana
@witmin I agree. That's why we are working on Sorted³ for macOS at the moment. Will let you know once a public beta is ready. Happy Scheduling!
Zee M Kane
Any plans for a desktop/web based version of this?
Leo Tumwattana
@zee Yes. We've actually already begun work on Sorted³ for macOS. We'll be going back to work on that as soon as Sorted³ iOS launch madness subsides a bit.
Cecilia Lee
@zee @iamkulio With a Mac version, that will be perfect! Planning on your laptop is part of my routine.
Leo Tumwattana
@cecilialeehs Roger that. Will work diligently right after launch madness. 👍
Tanner Stephens
@zee @iamkulio any ballpark timeline you can share with us? would love to switch from Things 3 but won't be doing so just yet if it's looking like a 2019 type of release.
Leo Tumwattana
@zee @tanner_stephens It's always hard to estimate ETA on development. Rather not overpromise.
Andrew Brodsky
Good luck. I'm sure the world of Product will cheer the all new version of your already popular app.
Leo Tumwattana
@andrewjb44 Thank for very much and we sure hope Sorted³ and its focus on scheduling proves helpful to many.

@_theimmortal_ Definitely, hope that you will enjoy what we offer.

Neat UI for productivity app.
Leo Tumwattana
@charlesjo Thank you. Glad you like it and hope you find Sorted³ helpful in organizing your day!
Leo Tumwattana
@charlesjo Awesome. Have fun and happy scheduling!

Looks good so far. I have two questions for you regarding Natural Language Input. First are there any plans to add repeating options to Natural Language Input? Second for repeating options, can we have a setting for just weekdays? I have a lot of tasks that repeat just during the week, but I’m not currently seeing that as a repeat option. Is this something you’d consider adding? Thanks!!
Leo Tumwattana
@nostradamion Yes. We'll be looking into improving our NLP input. Including auto-suggesting list and tags. For weekday repeating option. If you change the first picker to "week", then an "On Days" picker option appears where you can specify a combination of "Sun Mon ... Sat". Let me know if that's what you are looking for.

Abadesi
@iamkulio What's new in this version compared to this?
Leo Tumwattana
@abadesi Great question. Firstly, we rebuilt the entire app from the ground up with two goals: 1. Make Sorted³ more powerful by adding support for: - Folders / lists / tags - Full calendar event editing - New and powerful features such as Auto-Schedule - Support for rich formatted notes All of these were highly requested by Sorted 2 users and fitted well with where we wanted to take Sorted going forward. 2. At the same time make Sorted³ much easier to learn and use. All so we can help promote the practice of scheduling to more people.
Harry Ng
@iamkulio @abadesi In fact, our previous version is https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Leo Tumwattana
@kastriok Thank you very much. That means a lot to us.
Mac Aficionados
@iamkulio Great improvement compared to Sorted 2! By the way, the new design is also beautiful! This app will clearly become one of our best GTD app on iOS, great job!
Harry Ng
Hi Product Hunters! We're excited to debut Sorted³ to the Product Hunt community. It's been two years since the release of Sorted v1. We are so honored to have had so many users supporting us since day one. Some of our users tried and bought every task management apps available, and finally chose Sorted. I'm really honored to be part of this journey. We are ready to show you the redesigned product. Can't wait to hear what you think of Sorted³! Cheers / Harry #StaySorted P.S. If you want to learn more about Scheduling, please read our Productivity Guides, available inside the app and Medium (http://bit.ly/sorted-guides)
Charles Jo
@harryworld this has quickly become my favorite app! It’s the classic,”Why hasn’t anyone done this before? It’s so obvious!” <3 Sorted
Leo Tumwattana
@harryworld @charlesjo Thanks. We always wondered the same as we were building the various versions of Sorted.
Luca Halma
Really like it, would be great to have a desktop version aswell. Is it on you're to-do list? 😉
Leo Tumwattana
@lucahalma Great question. Yup. We've started work on Sorted³ for macOS. We'll announce the beta when it's ready in our Slack group and look forward to getting hunted again on launch. In case you are interested, you can join our Slack group via: https://staysorted.com/slack.html

Interesting to see how you took some design patterns and looks from Things 3 and gave it a twist. Giving it a try right now, but I’m sad to see that it’s missing deadlines. Is it on your plans?
Leo Tumwattana
@nscmnto Yes. We think the "Expand from Context" direction of Things 3, Google Inbox, Storehouse and those mentioned in this article https://uxdesign.cc/good-to-grea... is a good direction for the app industry. Let me add a +1 vote from you for "deadlines". It was one of those features that some wanted and some found it okay to type into the notes section during our beta. So thought we'd leave it out and see what the public feedback is.
Francesco D'Alessio
Excited to try it out!
Leo Tumwattana
@francescod_ales Thanks. Look forward to hearing your feedback!
Omar Trejo
I've always wanted to try Sorted but for some reason I just didn't feel compelled to, given that my current setup works fine for me. This new update might be what I need to actually go ahead and give it a try.
Harry Ng
@omtnt Hope that what we offer in Sorted³ can serve your need, as well as improve your workflow significantly. Do let us know if there is anything missing. We'd always love to hear how everything apply their workflow in action.
Omar Trejo
@harryworld do you guys happen to have codes left?
Leo Tumwattana
@harryworld @omtnt We handed out all our codes via Product Hunt chat already. Was one of them you?
braxton
Nice work! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Can’t wait to use it!
Leo Tumwattana
@3raxton Thank you. Can't wait to hear your feedback after you've put Sorted³ through its paces. Hope it proves effective for you.

Sorted is a delightful and fresh take on the old productivity song we're all singing in some way or another. The idea is to tightly integrate calendar events and task management. Thereby calendar events gain some task-like features, they can be checked off and removed from the remaining schedule. Tasks also gain some calendar features: they are integrated part of the calendar view once a completion date and time is set.

All in all I really enjoy using the app, maybe due to the other unique features Sorted packs.

- Markdown-like entry of subtasks and other notes

- ingenious rearrangement of tasks from projects into new projects or existing ones

I am really curious where the journey will go!

Pros:

calendar + tasks, new and fresh UI interactions

Cons:

limited planning depth

Harry Ng
Thanks for the review, also the inspirations of planning depth that lead to some of the features like "Reorganize".
Mathias Rhein
What a unique approach to reconciling tasks and events in an interface with many new UI tricks aimed at supporting you in processing everything! The best thing IMHO: you can check off events as you can tasks. Striking out events that are on your calendar but do not belong to what you want to do, thereby removing the clutter. Can't wait for the Mac App!
Leo Tumwattana
@mat_rhein7 Thanks. I personally love checking off my calendar events as well. Looking forward to delighting you with our macOS app.
James Dory
It looks extremely great. Can’t wait to use it in all of its glory. Would love to have a promo code pretty please!
Leo Tumwattana
@haitianwatcher Hi James. I think we've past our first ten comments by now. We do offer a 14 day free trial with the download and a launch discount until Sept 6th.
Ni ✌🏾& ❤️
Love it so far. Reminds me of Things 3 but a whole lot better. I’ve only used it on the surface. Can’t wait to really dig in to see what it has to offer that fits me. The autoscheduler is bae 😍😍😍.
Harry Ng
@ni_e_sha Glad that you are liking the Auto-schedule feature. This is one of the features that make scheduling fun and easy to use.
Cy
The autoschedule is fantastic! I was wondering- are you planning to have calendar integration?
Leo Tumwattana
@wahnxsinn Yes. We actually already support calendar integration. If you don't see your calendar events, then can you open Sorted³ then go to Settings > Integration > Calendars and make sure that is turned on?
Cy
@iamkulio ah, i realised i didn't actually word that particularly clearly, sorry 😓I meant back to the calendars it's integrated with, so you could see the events on there?
Leo Tumwattana
@wahnxsinn No worries. Just to clarify, events you create in Sorted³ should show up in your calendar service of choice. However, tasks will not sync to those calendars. The reason is that we have to keep a lot more information for tasks, such as multi-tags, etc. These info are not supported by calendar servers in general.
Sebastian Crossa
Wasn't a really big user and fan of past versions, but just downloaded Sorted 3 and completely fell in love with the whole experience! Just started college and have been looking for the perfect app for organizing my day so I can be as efficient as possible. Really think I've found the one. I'll be trying it out for a couple of days. Will definitely be buying full access :)
Leo Tumwattana
@sebastiancrossa Thank for your support and glad our work on Sorted³ got your attention. Good luck with college!
Andrew-David
This update looks fantastic! The UI is definitely sleeker and more comprehensible than Sorted 2, and I'm very excited to start using it more regularly :)
Leo Tumwattana
@andrewdavidj Thanks. Look forward to any feedback you may have and hope Sorted³ proves useful to you!
