Congratulations @pilosof and @dvirben it is done amazingly well. As a tester in the last few months, It literally changed my life. I dropped all other notes and tasks apps and everything is now in one place and it works much better!

@dvirben @aryehm couldn't happen without you 😉

looks great. do you see notion as competition? i guess the edge is the real time part of it?
Erez Pilosof
@ourielohayon the edge is in single workflow from your Inbox, making a seamless collaboration and messaging flow

Hey Product Hunt, Erez from Spike here. Thanks for checking out Spike 2.0 When we first launched Spike, our focus was to turn legacy email into a more conversational experience. With our latest update, we’ve set our sights on simplifying your day to day work. Instead of jumping between apps to collaborate on docs with coworkers, take meeting notes, manage your task list, or chat with your team, you can now do it all from within Spike’s Inbox. All of your work syncs seamlessly across all of your devices. Best of all, people who aren’t using Spike can still collaborate with you in real time without downloading an app or creating an account. Here’s what’s new in Spike’s even more powerful Inbox: • Personal notes for capturing thoughts whenever they arrive in your head • Documents with real-time collaboration, chat and commenting even with people who aren’t using using Spike • Cloud file storage for any file type with syncing across all your devices • Integrated task management in your inbox so you don’t have to switch to another app to stay on track with projects All of the new additions to the platform will live alongside your email in your Inbox, so you’ll have one place to manage everything for your work. You can respond to an email, resolve a comment on a document, and check off a task all within a unified Inbox. It’s a breath of fresh air in a fragmented world. Give it a shot and let us know what you think.

Update 3.0 is really mind blowing. Congratulations on that. After using it for half an hour I realize it is super crowded. Feels like notes and todo is there but you forget to kind of connect all. Like adding my email to my notes or todo. Todo is missing dates reminder. Your notes functionalities are best out there actually there is none(I think I am todo/notes app junky after tried almost 100s) of the app who can do all the things your notes features can do, looks like you name It and you have it. Unfortunately I can not use the app as it is over crowded and can’t do one thing at its best. I wish you would come up with everything in notes with separate notes app. I will be the first one to get on board.
Erez Pilosof
@nilsej you can just filter notes, tap the top left icon and choose notes we're considering a standalone notes app

It looks like a smart tool to save time and increase productivity. Going to test it on my iOS devices.

Been using Spike (since it was Hop) for more than 3+ years and trust me, this is one helluva mind-blowing update. Thanks, team!

Spike is awesome but don't fail as Google Wave who had too much feature with strange UI. I like Spike email, calendar, file management, search etc onMac desktop and mobile. But notes and task are a little bit weird to me (maybe I'm too old) :-)

@pilosof I'm enjoying Spike so far, but there are a couple of things missing that means I can't completely switch to Spike. 1. Read receipts 2. The ability to unsubscribe and trash all emails from that same email account in one go (this is something Edison offers). Any plans on adding these features?

I really love it and have been a fan for a while but I'm desperate for a solution to connect a work office365 email account that requires two factor authentication. I've tried everything and it just does not work. Support team has not been helpful. I barely use my personal gmail, and the productivity gains would only make sense on my work email, so I've stopped using it for that only reason...

I like this idea. I see there’s a way to see all the files that were sent from a person, but is it possible to search them? I wish there could be an option to do that, I think it would be really helpful
Erez Pilosof
@roncothronovich you can use general search, search the person, then filter files

Started using Spike 2 weeks ago and I've become addicted to it. It is such a clever product, which really revolutionized my email experience. It is so intuitive and easy to use, and checking and replying emails became fun and easy. The additions in the new version is mind blowing in my opinion, as now I can actually collaborate with other people in my inbox. Amazing job Spike team and keep on rocking.

Notes is a great new feature. Shouldn't there be a tab to see all notes, or when I filter/search notes, all appear. Currently, when I click on the notes tag, the Spike note does not appear?!
