Hi @alejandro_koretzky is this already in the current version of the desktop app? I can't seem to find it. I'd like to publish something about it on ANR https://audionewsroom.net

@audionewsroom hey there! CoSo is not yet available in the Desktop app but we're actively working on bringing it across more Splice surfaces. Stay tuned!

@alejandro_koretzky Love the idea. Wouldn't have thought of anything similar but seeing it done made me realize it's going to be an essential for musicians. I am delighted to see AI help creators reach their full potential.

I'm glad you guys are making the most out of the wealth of data you can take advantage from the sheer size of you sample library and the meta data you attach to every sample. The app UI is so beautifully minimalistic but i have to give you props for all the data science that went into the model that updates the mini session. @alejandro_koretzky I'm hoping you've been using my splice library and usage to enhance the personalisation aspect off the model. If I can be a pain would be nice to have the option to limit the app to the samples I have already purchased as well as integration into the desktop app, splice bridge and Ableton. As a long time happy splice subscriber, I have plenty of ideas about how a union between your entire app and plugin suite could help users go further than using the app for inspiration, if I can layout my own drums in a simple drum pad layer and maybe create some automated chords through Astra the app could send a very mature scaffold to encourage us into turning the import into a song. Love your work

Hi Product Hunt community! I’m Ale Koretzky and I lead the Machine Learning & Audio Science team at Splice, a music technology company where we cultivate the essential ecosystem for music creation. We’re constantly on the lookout for ways to improve and remove friction from the modern music-making workflow, and our new app CoSo does exactly this. CoSo introduces a new paradigm that combines groundbreaking technology with the vast and high-quality Splice catalog, to get music makers instantly inspired. When making music, the states of discovery, curation and creation have always been disconnected, but with CoSo, they become part of an interconnected flow, enabling a frictionless experience for the generation and completion of musical ideas. CoSo automatically matches sounds that just work well together from across the huge range of the Splice catalog. It does this without any hard-coded rules or prior knowledge about a sound, relying only on the audio data itself. Given a universe of millions of candidate sounds, CoSo can identify and match the most compatible ones in milliseconds, across keys and tempos, enabling billions of combinations and making it the most powerful human-first, AI-assisted music-making engine in the world. We think we’re up to something revolutionary; something that will empower music creators of all kinds. And the early feedback we’ve had from CoSo users backs that up. But this is just the beginning, and we have some incredible things in the pipeline, which we think will bring some major unlocks to the music creation ecosystem. We’d love to hear your thoughts — you can use the feedback tool in the app or tell us what you think right here on Product Hunt. So, try out CoSo (sign up for free in the app), and start making some music! What will you create today?

@alejandro_koretzky i love splice, so i had to try this app too. First of all, i love UI/ux. You did a great work! I would prefer having opportunity to adjust key..but it somehow works fine even without that. .. incredible toy for producers to find patterns with fresh new atmosphere or feeling on which one can build new ideas

@liborvasicek thank you so much for the feedback, Libor!
