Upload your own loop and pick a genre -- Splice AI will help you create completely original songstarters featuring millions of musical combinations that no one’s ever heard before with sounds made by the world’s top producers.
Hey! We just launched the latest addition to Splice Create mode -- you can now bring your own loops Splice to discover endless combinations of sounds that augment and advance your creative ideas.
Create is our inspiration engine built around the massive Splice catalog of royalty-free, human-made audio samples for music makers. We launched this feature a year ago today, unlocking a new AI-powered discovery experience where you can easily build arrangements (aka Stacks) from millions of loops and shape an early song idea directly on Splice. Over the past year we've added new ways to quickly get your ideas into the DAW (export to Ableton Live and Studio One, stem export and more) and new ways to start (more genres, the ability to build a Stack around any Splice loop, and our overhauled mobile app).
Today's launch unlocks more personal and creative interaction with the catalog. Drag a loop out of your DAW or upload from your computer and find the perfect samples that expand your original ideas.
We're continuously refining and improving these features and would love to hear feedback, if you have a thought hit the "give feedback" button or message me!
Splice has been super useful, especially for a noob like me (although I know it's used by every skill level).
This is a natural extension of what they've built but does it also compete with their creator segment (the people that are creating loops, sounds, and stems)?
@rrhoover Hey Ryan! Create is pure discovery, it uses ML to pull together loops from our catalog and builds arrangements of ones that fit the timbre, chord progression and style of your own sound. Like our other search and browse UX, the humans behind the samples get credit when you license sounds.
