Spotify's video advertising ambitions have a new and improved platform to drive more company revenue — the TV. Especially for video podcasts, this is going to be a significant part of their continued growth strategy.

I use this multiple times a week and love seeing my Spotify on my large-screen TV.

They probably still haven't fixed it for Apple TV. Spotify in the Apple ecosystem is purposely crippled and they basically ignored customer feedback for years.

Great idea, playing Joe Rogan in the background while completing house hold chores is extremely enjoyable. I know a lot of people that don't watch t.v. in the traditional sense but rather use it as an entertainment hub for social gatherings and this can augment that experience!

I've seen the idea coming for a long time now , I really thought it would have happened before now . I like using my Spotify on the TV , I actually prefer when I can listen on the tve , but it's come a long ways and only got better on visuals for a bigger ratio , and agree the video improves for advertising as long it isn't repetitive and to much . I've noticed video added ovér the years for individual bands like the canvas option on cell phones became cool and more interesting. I'll ramble on when it comes to music but also been a beta tester junkie for years now on Spotify but not saying I prefer or being biased or anything because there are others out there lol . I do like what Spotify has become and hope it keeps it up .
