SquadCast v2 was redesigned to recording high-quality audio for professional podcasters and their guests - now with mobile, multi-browser support, & flexible pricing.
Extremely impressed with @zach__moreno and @rockwell_felder 's responsiveness and commitment to a quality product. Remote interviewing for podcasts is a pain. Definitely recommend podcasters check them out!
This solves a myriad of problems podcasters have (especially dual-end recording). This is what people need to be using and is the "skype/zoom killer" app for people who care about how their show sounds. I've been podcasting for 12.5 years and Squadcast is actually going to change the game for me and thousands of others.
How does is this any different than Zencastr which also allows unlimited guests where this is max at 4? Is it really only the video chat and future video recording?
I've heard great things about SquadCast for months now. The site used to have a road map with video recording for July. Now that's removed and the pricing page says it's "coming soon". Any updates on video recording? Really want to ditch Zoom and come over to SquadCast!
@vincent_moreno_jr_ Is this done fully on the browser?
I am really interested for sure.
Do you have full control of what audio inputs you have and so on?
Another question, whenever video recording exists, do you know if its going to be a biiiig bump on the pricing?
Last question - where do I sign up to get that information? :D
@itstheandre Yup, SquadCast is a web app. So everything happens in the browser.
Every guest has control over audio inputs/outputs, as well as what camera they wish to use.
We haven't settled on a pricing structure yet, but it won't be a massive jump.

Been using them since October 2018 for my weekly guest podcast. Has made my life so much easier! Before I had roboting, had to get people an account for VoIP, with SquadCast, I send them a link and it's all set to go. The audio sounds great and helps with editing when everyone is on a separate track. Great team at SquadCast and a vital part of my weekly recordings. Plus, if anything happens, there is a backup and they have your back!
@zach__moreno@rockwellian5 Looks good, grab my upvote guys! By the way, would you like to have an interview about SquadCast published at StartupRadius? Give me a shout!
I love this product for recording remote guests for podcasting. It works great for me and my clients. And I love the team, they provide excellent support and are constantly making updates to satisfy the needs of the podcasting community.
I have been using Squadcast for some of my interviews and am loving the sound quality. My listeners have commented on the high quality sound on my show.
SquadCast has become my go to for remote podcasting. Great product and better customer service. They really listen to the customers' insights and make the product even better than a lot of remote podcasting products out there.
One of the biggest issues podcasters face is how to do remote interviews with people in a way that provides both quality sound and technical ease. Squadcast solves both these issues, basically letting podcasters do a "double-ender" recording without making the guest/interviewee do anything more than click on a link.
Our mission is to empower & encourage creatives to engage in meaningful conversations without barriers. With SquadCast v2 we reasoned up from our first principles, asking ourselves the same fundamental question we began with. Can remote interviews be a podcast superpower?
Looking through that lens plus of all the feedback & lessons learned over 3 years, we envisioned a whole new experience for SquadCast Hosts & their Guests. We are excited to announce the release of the all new SquadCast, a different way to record podcast interviews.
We are incredibly proud of what our team has built. Go see for yourself & tell us what you think! 🎙️✨🎙️
I do a monthly podcast and the main thing that I look for in a podcast recording tool is reliability and quality of audio. Most of my recordings have gone flawlessly, but even when they haven't? I just put in a support ticket and they had backup recordings and I still got everything I needed.
Very responsive, great tech, and the V2 release is really kicking it up with new features and a better UI, especially for novice users, like many guests might be.
I'd not use any other service after trying this one.
The team at squadcast works hard to be personally involved in the podcast space and the work even harder answering questions in almost every online community I’m a part of...even when people need help unrelated to Squadcast!
Squadcast is indeed a gamechanger for podcasters. The real-time recording, separate recordings at each participant location prior to compression and sending through the internet, provides superior quality to anything that I've used before. Support is excellent and the V2 upgrade is a big jump forward. Can't wait for Video recording and screenshare capabilities.
