Hi PH! I'm excited to launch a side project I've been working on. There is so much misinformation about Bitcoin and I think we (the Bitcoin community) just need to better educate the public about how it works. State of Bitcoin is an iOS app that helps people track and learn about Bitcoin. Tracking Widgets: There is a ton of focus on the bitcoin price, but there are other interesting metrics, such as lightning capacity, hash rate, the halving, current block height, etc. V1 of SOB 😜 has widgets that track all of these nbrs on your home and lock screens. Learning: Of course everyone has heard of bitcoin, but I find most people have no idea about some of the basics (e.g. What are Satoshis? What is the Halving?). The app has content which breaks down the basics of how Bitcoin works. In v2 I'd like to make the educational content more interactive (kind of like duoLingo). Given the events of the past week, it's important to distinguish Bitcoin from crypto. SOB is and will be bitcoin-only. Thanks for reading. I'd love to hear your feedback!

Hi, I tried to install it on my Mac, but it requires OS 13.0 or later :(

@groot_robo right now its only for iPhone, but if more ppl want it on their Mac, will build it.

Well done! I've been involved in a project that is the development of a mining pool (BTC only for now) for ~7 months and we've gone into production recently, so Bitcoin is taking all my thoughts :) Would also be nice to have an Android version of the app as I don't have any iOS devices, so hope you guys will launch one soon!
