Hello there friends! About a year ago I took my dream job at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) as their ecosystem evangelist. It's been a wild ride through so many changes and unexpected twists and turns. One of the most important programs the SDF maintains is their community funding initiative and I've had the privilege of stepping in to help redesign and relaunch this program under its most ambitious update ever over its more than 4 year history. The Stellar Community Fund is a pretty unique grants program: it gives the broader Stellar community the opportunity to vote on which projects deserve XLM rewards. After nearly four years of experience and tons of feedback from participants and voters, we’ve decided to make some big changes to the SCF to make it more fun, more fair, and better suited to the needs of the community. Be aware that you might get disqualified after you win. It happened before to us in the last SCF after devoting thousands of working hours and a lot of capital into our project.
