It looks like your marvellous free tool "Trace" is now nowhere to be found. That's a real pity. You just dismissed it because it was too successful?

@ange_du_soir thanks, but it looks like you did not catch the message I was trying to communicate. I am not looking for a bitmap to vector app. I am complaining, with the company behind the tool showcased on this page, of having abandoned thousands of happy users without communicating. This is something I do not want to support.
Further I am not interested in your tool, especially because you appear to be there just to promote without any interest in what is being said.
@ange_du_soir For your info: Trace the tool that Sticker Mule dismisses suddenly and silently allowed to automatically remove the background from any photo for free.
@robingood sorry but you were not clear at all, also I'm not related to vectorizer or other tools if you look my comment above I link to a lot of alternatives, was just trying to help
@robingood It’s surprisingly expensive to run Trace for free worldwide. We restricted it for the time being while we investigate options.
@davetraver There's no shame in being transparent and informing users of a newly found issue.
But making an app disappear from one day to the next with no public information about it, it doesn't seem a great way to keep up the reputation and visibility that Sticker Mule did get from promoting the Trace app.
It looks to me as a giant opportunity thrown to the winds. Look forward to be proven wrong.

@ange_du_soir I get where you're coming from, but what you're suggesting is that they basically work for free, until the client is satisfied with the results, and then charge a (really really) small amount to get the final vector graphic. I think the examples on the webpage and their track record of over-delivery should be enough of a proof you'll get a great result 🙂
That being said, the copy on their website is a bit confusing as it suggests you'll see the results before you pay, which I guess is not the case... "Review an online proof to see what your redraw will look like before you pay"...

@ange_du_soir I'm not from Sticker Mule, so no idea, but I'd guess based on the details, some of the work would be done by a human. I've used other automatic tools for vectorising graphics before and none came close to what they're showing in the examples...mostly the text (or fonts) are weird and unusable, but maybe they have figured out how to do that in a better way (which I doubt) 🤷♂️

@curiousigor @ange_du_soir I think it's a human doing this. The online generators usually suck and Stickermule's design team is amazing at turning around stickers. I also think if it's like stickers, there will be a "checkout" step but your card is never charged until you approve the final proof.
Interesting product! How do you deal with with people uploading images they do not own rights for? If they use your software to fix the size or resolution and use the image. Many stock sites upload smaller images for discounted rate as a part of a business model.
@petra_kemkova Good question! We review every design and so far no one has used Redraw on copyrighted designs. People are primarily using it to fix their own designs. Millions of people need to upgrade their own images because they lost the source files.
Before we put our trust again in a new app by Sticker Mule, can you please confirm what is going to happen with "Trace By Sticker Mule"? Especially after you collected all these emails by promising a free app and become #3 Product of the Week on PH just a few months ago? The app doesnt work any more. We are willing to pay a small fee for unlimited background removal but it has to be done asap. We are left hanging here.

This is just what I needed! Can’t beat the value Very very excited when one only has a low quality image , now it will come out even better on my custom orders!
I've used Stickermule for awhile now and hopped on this as soon as it was available and the results were fantastic!
Let's be clear = your image will not simply be "converted", it will be "redrawn" (hence the name) by a person. If it was not then the outcome would be pretty bad and you wouldn't like it.
With that being said = Sticker Mule is great and they actually care about quality and final product so there you go!
Sticker Mule always has great service and quick! Got my proof in a couple hours, made change comments and those changes were done within an hour. As soon as I approved the proof, payment processed and download file was immediately available! Logo came out perfect!
@davetraver is this a one time purchase or do i need to buy multiple times for multiple images?
