Hey Product Hunt! I'm Michael Stibi (Forbes 30 Under 30, Former CoFounder & CEO of Purency - a microplastics analysis deep-tech startup). Super excited to share the ultimate investing hack: Understanding the stock you’re investing in! Sounds pretty obvious, but after talking to a lot of peers slash busy professionals (yep, that’s you), @nils_zimmermann_abc and I realized most retail investors spend more time deciding on dinner than doing proper due diligence on their investments. Actually - I should have known because that's exactly how I started building my portfolio. I guess the reason is quite simple: we’re all busy being busy professionals doing busy work. It takes time to read annual & quarterly reports, relevant news, look up upcoming events and check out similar companies - all while chasing a million other commitments. So in order to keep playing part-time investors (and to educate my investment-dummy-alter-ego), Nils and I built a pretty cool prototype for ourselves: Stocklense, where we turn hours of qualitative stock research into simple, well-structured reports you can read during coffee break. Get a stock report or download our example report and let us know what you think - we're open for input! https://www.stocklense.com/?utm_source=product_hunt&utm_medium=s&utm_id=1 Happy investing!

Hey Product Hunt! I’m Nils Zimmermann (Data Scientist, Private Equity, Consulting, hobby investor, Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger disciple). The Buffett and Munger rabbit hole I went through clearly showed me: ‘The really big money tends to be made by investors who are right on qualitative decisions’ (Buffett, 2013). So why are most investing tools quantitative? With all the screeners and data aggregators, finding a stock that seems cheap is not difficult. Finding a cheap stock, which is also a high-quality stock is difficult. As a retail investor, the next difficulty is finding the time to monitor my investments and understand whether the original hypothesis is still intact. So, I got busy building something to help me plough through qualitative aspects. After collaborating with my friend @michaelstibi, we are excited to launch StockLense!
