I rely on this morning newsletter to help me know what's going on in the startup and tech worlds. The woman behind it is Connie Loizos (@Cookie on Twitter), Silicon Valley Editor of TechCrunch. The content is funny, relevant, topical, and enjoyable to read as I'm waking up each day, and her refreshingly transparent candor is the cherry on top. This is one of maybe 3 daily newsletters that I don't have added to my Unroll.me roll-up, since I anticipate opening it each morning.
Each newsletter includes the following topics:
- Top News in the A.M.
- New Fundings
- New Funds
- IPOs
- People (who's moving around/getting hired or fired in Tech)
- Essential Reads (usually long-form reads on VC/tech/startup topics)
- Detours (miscellaneous non-tech reads)
- Retail Therapy (ridiculous things available for purchase)
