When we first launched Stripe Checkout in 2014, the product was designed to keep customers on your site while paying. In 2019, we moved to a Stripe-hosted page to offer functionality like Apple Pay out of the box. With this new version you can get all the features and optimizations of Checkout, while keeping payment on your site. You might want to call this “Embedded Checkout for Stripe” Otherwise it looks like it’s a product made by Stripe

OK. I like the going back to the origin idea. I will use this a lot as I don't need to add a full ecommerce store for many clients with a few products.

this is great as i've had a hypothesis about embedding checkout into my product lately for more control and leverage of the customers on my end, instead of referring them to stripe's end. will give this a try for sure

This is great news. Probably a silly question, but can it be used by multiple sellers on a SaaS app in place of Connect?

Love Stripe. Just a quick question - is there any additional charges / fees to using it versus sending someone to the normal Stripe payment form? (I'm talking more B2B here - so I send someone an invoice with a link to pay the invoice via Stripe - but thinking this could be a great way to embed the payment form on my website rather and take the payment that way)

Can this also be used with website builders, I wonder?
