Btw, I think the tool needs a memorable brand name (amongst the big players in this space), where Studio is a generic name. I can see this grow huge, it's a unique concept.

any plan to release API ?
Joe Ishii
@imknight You mean open API? yeah definitely that's on our future plan👍

The Studio has come a long way! I watched all of your tutorial videos, and it seems that Studio is way more intuitive compared to something like Webflow. I suppose this is where future is heading and in that case, you’re ahead of the curve. I was thinking of making my next project in Studio but realised that you don’t allow code export. It’s an odd choice given that you don’t support that many 3rd party apps yet. I use Gumroad to sell digital assets, and as it stands, you currently do not support it. I understand that you want to force people into purchasing your premium plan, but it’s not a good idea to do so until you a have a large list of supported apps. I believe that a lot of people would be willing to pay you even more if you just allowed them to export code. You can pivot your business plan once your product is ready. Just my thoughts anyhow. I also wished that Studio supported components/symbols that can be reused. As people already mentioned before, it’s a big trend and would go hand-in-hand with your collaboration feature. Keep up the good work and, most importantly, don’t sell out to InVision. We need some more healthy competition. 😅👌

@robertsozolins Thank you for your specific feedback! It wold be really helpful to make it better STUDIO
Parker Ituk
@ytk141 Great product! I was wondering is there a way to download the HTML files of the generated website if I don't want to publish or connect to a domain?
Joe Ishii
@parkerituk Thanks! We don't have export code feature for now, but that's on our roadmap so stay tuned 😉

Studio 2.0 feels less overwhelming and more intuitive than most web design tools I've tried. Kudos to the Studio team for this solid release!
Joe Ishii
@larz Thanks Larz! I'm super happy you enjoyed our product! 😆

When STUDIO was on Product Hunt during August'17, it got amazing fans and turned out to be the top Product of the day then. They have come a long way in the last 15 months. From just being a prototyping tool to where it is now is just worth appreciating. Now, you can design the website of your dreams and go live in just one click - totally code-free. @ytk141 is one of the founders of STUDIO, he along with his team will be here
Joe Ishii
@adithya Thank you fo hunting us, Adithya! :)

I’ve been using the beta for a few months now and it gives you all the controls you need to make your site very customizable while getting pages published FAST!

Pros:

Very intuitive and easy features allow rapid page designs that are fully responsive. Live collaboration works great too.

Cons:

Would be nice if there was a CMS solution integrated.

Joe Ishii
Thanks so much Caleb! We will definitely develop CMS as soon as possible!

How does this compare to something more mature like Bubble?

@keimakai1993 @ytk141 @stefania - LOVE IT!!! Great job with the look and feel (UX & UI)...very impressed. Does Studio integrate with any payment solutions (stripe, etc)?
Joe Ishii
@keimakai1993 @stefania @mdbrmn Thanks! Not yet for payment, but it's on our roadmap!

Looking forward to giving this a try. Question: how would it work for someone designing a website for a client? Is there a way to hand it off, and if that client wants a CMS does that mean they end up paying $27/month? That’s kind of steep for a lot of small businesses, especially when managed WordPress hosting can be had for as low as $15/month. Also, do you have anything like blocks or sections? Either pre-made ones or a way to save your own? And how about global styles, like colors, fonts, etc? Thanks!
Joe Ishii
@nicksimard Thanks for the questions Nick! You can easily hand off the work by adding your clients to the project and changing editing and ownership rights as needed. The client will be able to easily edit the text directly on STUDIO. As for the CMS, we actually haven't rolled it out yet, we are planning to release it after April this year. Pricing for that plan is still subject to change and it would be good to hear what you think is a fair price. What exactly do you mean with blocks or sections? We have template components and wireframe components that you can use and costumize as you need, if that's what you are looking for. Finally, you can style many elements at once using multiple selection, and you can also save colors you use often on a project on the project color palette, same thing for fonts. For more advanced styling, we are planning to release components in the next few months to make styling at scale even more efficient. Definitely give it a go and let us know what you think :)

After shopping around and researching different services I decided to try Studio. It looked like it would let me design what I wanted without knowing how to code and the price beats everyone else. I'm impressed with the features and it wasn't a huge learning curve to get started. The support documentation and videos are excellent. It looks like they worked hard to provide people with the resources to be successful. I was able to learn software, design my site, and publish it in a week (including creating all my assets). The only downside I have found is that if something goes wrong or isn't clearly answered in the documentation (they use Intercom), you're on your own. No replies to Intercom chat or emails after days. Pros: Easy to learn, great price, great documentation and tutorials Cons: Support is unresponsive
Kaz Tamai
Congrats! Love it!
Joe Ishii
@kazsatamai Thank you so much Tamai-san! 😆

1. Does it do anything faster, cheaper or better than the existing competitors? 2. Do have any plans to integrate with WordPress or enter that area?

@fajarsiddiq Thanks so much! 😎👍

Unfortunately I wasn't around for the first iteration, but this looks like such a powerful tool for non-technical people like myself! As a digital marketer with some prototyping experience, this tool will be incredible for developing landing pages and smaller product pages. Would love to see a native CMS integration and the ability to create user profiles. None-the-less, you've done such an incredible job so far 🙌
Joe Ishii
@lachlankirkwood Thank you so much Lachlan! 🙌

What is the difference between Studio and Webflow?
Joe Ishii
@milanseitler As some people said, STUDIO is more intuitive and easy to use to designing. Just give it try and give me feedback👍

Looks interesting but why can't I use it on Firefox? Would prefer not to use Chrome.
Andu Potorac
This is a brilliant idea - a mix between Sketch and website building platforms. Webflow seems to be the main competitor, yet not as easy to use as you guys. 😉 @ytk141 here's a question. I am playing with the boxes available as I want to explore how this works before I reach out to you guys. But when I embed even a simple iFrame the interface turns red and it replaces it with the default code: This is the iframe: https://jsfiddle.net/Widgetic/qa...
