I’m Kelly, one of the makers of Sunrise, a guided journaling app for mindfulness.
After experiencing multiple burnouts, my co-founders and I wanted to build a mental health tool that was more affordable than CBT therapy and more introspective than meditation apps.

Congrats, Kelly,I tried out your product briefly, and it's a great idea.
However, my initial experience suggests there's room for improvement in the UI.
It’s a bit tricky to input text on mobile, so I’d recommend adding more input assistance or including a voice-to-text feature.
Also, could you consider adding some gentle background music? It would be really helpful for relaxing.

We do have a "Do Nothing" Timer that's meant for you to listen to music / background noise and relax. :)
There's also a Bedtime Stories section, where we're planning to add relaxing music!

Always love to support a mental health focused app - we've become spiritually rich with so much content to consume, but it also brought on lots of burdens. This covers quite a few different use cases - not only journals which are CBT based but also bedtime stories. I can see this extended into many other areas.
I'm curious what's the biggest different when it comes to building an app for the Korean market vs North America? Do users have different use cases?

So far, Korean users are much more inclined to "just journal" whereas North American users are more interested in the guided templates when it comes to our product. Our numerical product level data isn't 100% aligned with this statement though - this statement is mainly based on user interviews, cultural differences, and gut feeling. We'll let you know if anything else pops up in this regard!

I've never stopped looking for some guidance on journaling and mindfulness. It's hard to get to it and also where to start. Then consistency is another challenge. Burnout is real, especially for someone like me running multiple businesses. Would love to try this! Congrats @kellypoly
