@acnebs as a note app connoisseur, the card idea seems super interesting. I’ll have to give it a try.
I’ve settled on Craft as of late because I love the native design & daily notes.
Are your macOS & iOS apps built natively or they’re web apps?
@metedata Definitely give us a try! We've spent a lot of time perfecting the design and making daily note-taking something fun to do.
The apps are all web-based under-the-hood, but we've done a lot of performance tuning to ensure it feels as native as possible, and think we've actually done a pretty good job!

I definitely fell into the trap with Craft & all other apps where I feel like I have to use formatting / advanced features to make my notes more functional or prettier, but in reality I just want to dump some text in and have the app do the rest of the work for me. Supernotes seems more aligned with that philosophy.
I think the offline mode is extremely important! I like the design, congratulations on the 3rd launch! :)
Supernotes is amazing. Connor and Tobias are incredibly dedicated to building the best note taking app out there, and it shows!
What do you feel differentiates you from other note taking solutions (Notion, Evernote, Apple Notes lol) ?
Hi @sam_drotar, most other note-taking tools focus on writing long-form content within teams (such as Notion and Evernote). Whereas Supernotes is focused on you the individual, creating short-form notecards, which are easier to organize, group related concepts together and share with your friends.
Apple Notes is also more for short-form note content, however it's Apple ecosystem lock-in and limited organisation makes it difficult to grow with you once you start having 100+ notes. Hope that helps 🎈

Supernotes is a wonderful space for structured thinking. I use it for outlining blog posts and presentations before turning them into slides.

Amazing job Tobias, I had no idea you were on version 3! It's magnificent and is likely gonna take the place of my apple notes app, which needed replacing to be honest!

Offline editing and syncing is the reason that this is going to probably replace Gdocs for me, at least on mobile. Great example of continued, thoughtful and gimmick-free product development. Keep up the good work!

@itsjulius Hi Julius! Not really haha. We have many videos on our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@Supernotes), but yes those are all a few years old now. However most of the key ideas still apply, so feel free to watch some of those videos to get a feel for it.
We will be producing new videos over the coming months to bring everything up to date with all the changes and improvements we've been making lately!
Looks cute! During my time at uni I was leaning hard on Evernote and then just kinda got back to regular pen and paper... Downloading your app now, I hoping to stick to it for some time!

I can only speak for myself, but for me, the standout feature isn't something shiny, but the core concept itself. The the take on organization is different from the competition.
The data model allows to build a hierarchy, where any children can have multiple parents. This amounts to a structure that is great to bring order in your thoughts, whie at the same time being super flexible, in that you don't need to make the impossible decision whether to file something at either this or that location (go for both!). It's the flexibility of a graph that comes with the lucidity of a folder structure.
Implementing this basic idea, Supernotes 3 has now matured into an app that is an absolute joy to use.
Congratulations! The eye for detail you have and love for great engineering and design you guys pour into this app is simply unmatched. Your work inspires me so much, bravo. 👏🏼
When it comes to note-taking I need get two jobs done:
1. Quickly capture notes on the go.
2. Quickly discover relevant information from my notes.
@twhetton and @acnebs have built an awesome tool that excels at those two tasks. In this latest version, they perfect the offline mode, which makes Supernotes indispensable for me.
I'm loving the fact that the team is building Supernotes with intention, mindfulness and strong focus on user experience. I can't wait to see more and how Supernotes will evolve in the future.
