looks great....but how can it be free? for how long? there are so many out there all charging too much, and I always beg devs to do a BYO API key to keep costs down.....but free? how's it possible?
@simon_s_j To be honest, I wanted to launch as quickly as possible to validate the product. So I saved time by not adding payments.
I plan on having a cheaper, BYO API key plan, as well as a No Key required plan, which costs more.
For now, I hope the OpenAI bill won't be too high...
@adampetty please please please do a BYO option and keep it low for us small bloggers😃 If you do it will make you app stand out and you will win big-time with a big share. But in meantime get some plan going so you don't get killed with the OoenAI bill 😁
@adampetty That sounds like a spot-on plan, Adam....I think that is what a lot of bloggers have been waiting for. And it is so much better for you - better margin, no sweating over the API bill and you know what you are clearing each month and your margins improve as you sacel away from fixed costs.
No doubt you also have a plan to allow a bit of tailoring of the look/colour of widget and placement (left or right) etc? When that is in place hit me up and I will swing over and check it out again!
To say that this 'Looks very useful' is an understatement. With lots of companies doing away with receptionists and other gatekeepers, this product ensures that, providing their audience is up for non-human communication, inquires are tended to and questions are provided 'on-script' answers and responses. Which will allow them to do what they do best, tend to the meat and potatoes of their business.
I can't wait to try this out to see how my small business clients respond to it.
