Hello Product Hunt! We launched our app a few months back to help people create custom filters for their pictures. Observing how most people shared their stuff on Snapchat, we experimented an option where they could just download the filter template and submit to Snapchat as an on-demand geofilter. Since then we’ve been getting a lot more organic downloads/engagement. Currently, - We are the only geofilter maker app in the play store. - We offer one of the most competitive rates in the market (Priced at $3.99 for a DIY, and $4.99 for a pre-designed template) - We have a large collection of pre-designed templates for various occasions & constantly adding new ones. Hello everyone! Really excited to showcase our app! Bit of a backstory. Couple of months ago, I and @nithishm were playing around with the idea of geofilters. We discovered that Snapchat reaches to 41% of all 18 to 34 year olds in US who snap and use geofilters regularly. It really struck a chord when we discovered that more than 50% of US mobile phone users are android. Although geofilters are only available in handful of countries - there was no alternative to create geofilters on android devices. Getting a geofilter created by a designer is not only an expensive way but also a prolonged one. It usually involves sharing the idea, going through samples and multiple revisions before settling down. Another alternative was to buy from a market place. Noticing the high demand, market places started to bloom. Designers flocked and geofilters were priced high as the market places took a big percentage of sales in commissions. Understanding the scenario, we wanted to create a DIY geofilter app for android users and that's how we came up with Snapstudio. Snapstudio is an android app that lets you create geofilters effortlessly. Our intuitive product design aims to help non-designers create stunning geofilters. Few interesting facts about Snapstudio: 1) The project took less than a week to build, including design work for 40+ templates. 2) We've haven't spent a single dollar on promotions or ads.
