2 things caught my eye. They managed to make a cool app to order, but still offer no delivery like seamless or uber style apps. If it get's popular among the frequent customers to actually try and save that little time on the way to Taco bell and have the order ready, seems like a challenge but would be awesome.
2nd - "Rotate to re-order" never heard of anyone using an action like that. Amazon has the one click order, Spring uses swipe to order. Taco bell now inventing the rotate to re-order haha. Wonder if they're patenting that
To me the interesting detail is that they killed their website all together and replaced it with this app. http://www.tacobell.com/
The concept of a central website is becoming more unnecessary for brands who are not selling something online.
@Moore That's a really good point, especially since all those website were really good for was looking up menus and nutritional information. You can easily do that in an app.
@Moore I agree. Definitely the most interesting part of the whole deal. I'm assuming this is very temporary and intended to give as much lift as possible on the app store charts, get people talking, etc. I will be watching to see when they put it back online.
