Good question, thanks for that. Let my try to explain it:
In many user conversations it turned out that some simply do this via ChatGPT. However, the users I want to help have to deal with 100s of reviews or support requests a day and the interface of ChatGPT is not very helpful.
With the extension it is possible to generate the answers directly from the browser in no time without having to fight with the inconveniences of ChatGPT.
And you may not believe it, but 50% of the users I could talk to have not used ChatGPT yet.

@simon_orlob that's great to know! Would love to know how difficult it was to build an extension compared to maybe a very simple functional website? Even we're thinking of building a chrome extension for one of our product's use-cases but none of our developers have experience in it and I'm just being wary of jumping down a rabbit hole. Also, I'm looking forward to a feature to give your AI more context about our company so that it can generate even better responses!
@nirnimes its not that different than just creating a Website. Besides the chrome specific things like storage, Authentication and file-structure.
Iam also looking for some smart way to create the same functionality for adding to my website. But i dont want to maintaine 2 codebases. ( If someone knows a way pls contact me :D)

For answering support requests i have that feature to give the ai some context. This context will then be used when generating the replies. You can try it in the extension when switching to support-requests at the top.
