Better connections. Happier humans. Tangle reimagines remote work culture. Built from the ground up, teams can naturally collaborate by instantly starting and joining conversations, and intuitively keep up from overheard audio across a persistent shared space.

šŸ‘‹ Hi everyone! Itā€™s Rick, head of marketing here at Tangle with a special message from Tangleā€™s co-founderā€™s Alex Schwartz @alexattangle and Cy Wise @cy_wise. They are absurdly excited to share Tangle with you, the 2D workplace on a canvas. Hereā€™s a little insight into why theyā€™re reimagining remote work culture, what sets Tangle apart, and a few customer use cases. šŸŒŽ The remote work revolution - Alex and Cy firmly believe remote work is here to stay, and that itā€™s a more healthy, worker-centric, equitable way to work. Yet, current industry tooling for remote work really stinks, and the remote worker experience takes a toll on the mind. When all of the options are designed around video meetings and/or heavy text communication, it leads to endless meetings bookended by stark loneliness. Camaraderie and the vibe of being a team is left at the curb. ā¤ļø Why culture? - Tangle was created out of frustration with the lack of current tools available on the market. Initially setting out to build video games, Alex and Cy experienced the daily headaches of current remote work toolingā€”the mind-jarring text messages, isolated silos, and back-to-back meetings that left everyone feeling drained. With their backgrounds designing immersive experiences like Job Simulator, they ended up stumbling upon the building blocks of a tech platform that could help millions of people. Setting out to re-think remote communication and challenge the notions set out by other platforms, they built Tangle from the ground up to prioritize culture, connectedness, and the human element. Tangle is designed to handle collaborating in a way that allows for impromptu moments, serendipity, and overall togetherness that restores the best stuff of physical offices, with human hearts always at the center of it all. šŸ’» Simplify communications across your teams - Tangle encourages people to easily join conversations, whether verbal or non-verbal. Show someone support with a heart, raise a hand to be heard at different levels of urgency, celebrate with some confetti, and moreā€¦thus increasing engagement and making people feel like theyā€™re part of a team. One thing is for sure, simplified communications = fewer meetingsā€¦and imagine how much that time can be spent on more important priority projects. In fact, one early tester reported a 50% decrease in meetings. šŸ•’ Collaborate naturally in real-time - Anytime, anywhere. No more hopping in and out of third-party meeting links. Work and meet in Tangle, just like at the office. Seamlessly move around open and closed door rooms, and instantly start or join conversations. Experience what we like to call ā€˜swivel chairā€™ moments by intuitively keeping up with colleagues from overheard audio (that YOU control) across a persistent shared space (like being in a coffee shop). To date, Tangle has hosted more than 13 million minutes of conversations since August 2022. šŸ’Ŗ Empower your teammates, so they can show up to work how they want! - With a canvas of endless possibilities, Tangle provides efficient, sustainable remote collaboration with surprisingly fun (and sometimes silly) ways to engage. With Zoom fatigue diminishing engagement, and productivity, Tangle encourages people to express whatā€™s meaningful to them by uploading links, images, and videos directly in their shared workspace. And people can show up to work using our interactive and joyful Avatars (500+ customizations and counting), which are remarkably used 76% of the time instead of video. šŸš€ Try Tangle! - Today, we want to share Tangle with the Product Hunt community, so we tore down the "Request Access" button on our homepage and replaced it with "Try Tangle". Weā€™re absurdly excited to be taking the best of what people liked about the office, and reimagine it for remote work to create better connections, and happier humans. Weā€™d love to get your feedback, read your reviews, and look forward to hearing from you! Thanks for checking out Tangle! Head to our website and letā€™s Tangle! https://tangle.app/signup Alex, Cy, and everyone on the Tangle Team

congrats on the launch, haha, I love this idea. remote work and Zoom is the new normal now and it is hard to build a team culture when most of the teammate turn the camera off. Tangel makes it fun for the team to turn on the camera again. will try it out!
Rick Armstrong
@kenlian Thanks! Let us know what you think once you try it out! Camera on or off, we're putting human hearts back in the center of remote work. Having over 500+ avatar customizations for when you have your camera off helps too :-)

@stepan_cherkasov Thank you! Our team is made up primarily of those from the game industry so we tried to put a bit of fun back into it.
@lacey_winter That's amazing. I wish we had such a cool artstyle. Btw, we are also launching Clustr soon. It would be great if you can check us out and see that you think.
Wow looks like a very cool tool

@timcha we tried to put the joy back in remote work. Hope you take it for a swing with your team.

A missing link in remote team communication for me. Love being able to "grab" some for a quick talk and overhearing conversations (when they are not set up as private) like in the coffee-shop environment.
Good job! Great tool!)
