@benln @jaythesong I cannot tell you how much I love these async work approaches. I often work in corporate settings where meetings are helt all the time. Having an easy async work tool often makes things way easier. I would be interested how you differentiate from others in the space?

With other tools like Loom, when you try to do more than just share information, it can be awful as you always have to go like "Hey, can we make a change on the part showing second from the top right at the video you sent from 02:35?" But with Tape, you can just write a comment right on the video! And there are a lot more features that you can enjoy to actually "Get work done".
@swapdp_01 Thanks, Swapnil! Yeah, our users love using Tape when they talk to their clients. What they are saying is that it saves a lot of time as they can have more thoughtful communication, which reduces unnecessary iterations.

Feels like this could be game-changer even for teams who already do a lot of async communication. We record and share a lot of videos using Loom, but always find ourselves falling back to long comment threads off the back of these, or polls in Slack to up the engagement. Having all of that in one place would be so useful.

Not sure if I get the USP of this product, isn't this similar to Loom ? what is different, would love to know in a little detail

I've sene this before and had on my to do list to try out, but was working for a company that didn't really do much with async video. Now however, we're big loom users, and I wonder if this would be a better alternative! Going to give it a try.
@britt_joiner Thanks Brittany! If you are using Loom with your team, Tape is better as it's more interactive. While Loom is good enough for sharing information using video, I bet that when you try to exchange feedback, have a discussion or make a decision, you have to do it somewhere else such as Slack or email.
This can be as bad as it sounds, as all the context can get scattered and your team may end up wasting a lot of time due to miscommunication caused by that. π€¦ββοΈ
