Hi there! My 4 year old daughter has been a Tappernaut since Christmas of last year. We both love the app and are excited about the update. I may be more excited about it being available on web, since I may get my phone back a bit more often. Do you think we could get the 30% off when we renew in December? 🙏🏼
Chadwick Swenson
@jkdncn Thanks Jake! Absolutely. The code should still be active then but reach out to us if not. :)

Hi all, I'm Lawrence, and I'm here with my cofounders, @chadwick_swenson and @tanner_swenson. Together, we're the founders behind Tappity, the #1 science app for kids 4-10. (Thanks for the hunt @mwseibel ) TL;DR: Big news: Tappity is now available on the web, and we’re releasing our highest quality lessons at a pace faster than ever before! Since our launch on PH last year, we’ve spent hundreds of hours speaking with families to understand what we can do to create the best learning app for kids. Here's what we learned: parents want improved accessibility, more content, and better personalization. So, today, we’re excited to announce several major updates: 1. Tappity is now available on the web! Kids can access our growing library of interactive lessons on Chromebooks, family desktop computers, and more from any major internet browser. Realizing not all kids have Apple devices, we’re excited to make Tappity available to the other millions of kids out there. 2. With the opening of our brand new production studio, we’re now delivering on average one new lesson per day about topics as diverse as "Baking Science" to "Panda Bears!" Following our initial launch, we heard kids were running through our content too quickly, so we’re excited to announce that there’s more content than ever before. Plus, with new proprietary tech (and a 10 feet LED screen!) for our actors, our incredible production team can create more immersive content faster than ever! In fact, we even have a promise to create new lessons about topics that don't exist yet, and we'll do so within 90 days of your request! 3. Play Tappity with other kids. Educational apps are lonely experiences because kids often play them independently. So, we decided to change that paradigm. Now, not only can kids interact with our instructors, they're also able to see how other kids are voting--one important mechanism we use to engage kids with our videos. 4. Tappity is getting better and smarter at recommending and personalizing information for our young learners. For kids who had trouble finding content, we’ve built a recommendation engine that suggests topics and addresses them by name (opt-in) to make it feel more personal. To parents, we began sending personalized progress updates, so they can learn more about their children’s interests. We still have a ton of work to do but we’re incredibly excited about our latest update that's been in the works for the past few months. If you have younger kids, we'd love for you to give it a try. Or, if you know someone with younger kids, share Tappity with them! Everyone can sign-up for a 14-day trial completely risk-free, and we’re offering PH members 30% off our subscription prices if you use the following promo code (PH30) at checkout from our website: play.tappityapp.com Have any questions? Happy to answer them here or feel free to email us at hey@tappityapp.com For science, Lawrence & Chad

I don't have kids, but if I did, I would tell them to watch Tappity
Chadwick Swenson
@yunyu Thanks Yunyu!

This makes learning fun! Awesome :)
Chadwick Swenson
@jasonscui Yes it does! Thanks!

Hey Chad, Fellow YC ed-tech founder here! In India context, education as a service is preferred over education as content i.e parents will always be asking when are the live classes scheduled and will not be liking if you provide them a content library. Are you witnessing similar concerns in the markets you are working at?
Lawrence Tran
@wittyfarzi Hi Ahmad! We believe there's interest in both on-demand and live classes. As we understand it, every family manages their time very differently, so it really depends.

As a father of a 5 yr old, I am excited about the product and I am looking forward to experiencing Tappity with him after the school. My only suggestion is that I tried to see a few interactive video samples before sign-up yet I could not find - (perhaps I missed it) Viewing a few examples before proceeding with the credit card might be a little helpful for me to make me understand what I am going to expect. Good luck with your great product
chadwick swenson
Thanks for the feedback Onur! Giving a free sample lesson is a great idea. :)
Emmanuel A. Simon
@chadwickswenson agreed. I scoured your YouTube channel for a few samples first, maybe throw 3-5 there for a preview of how you handle different topics..
Bryce Bowman
What a great idea! I applaud any product that helps our kids get excited about science. This looks intuitive and not intimidating. Nice job!

@bryce_bowman Thanks, Bryce!
