@lxcid This app looks a good alternative to Trello. Just one this, is that 50% for life or just first month/year?

@lxcid @dionisloire @johnxie I would have tried it but it forcefully asks to make a copy of my contacts. That's not the right permission. Lost interest there and never signed up. ā†’ http://on.ahmda.ws/b37c63

@munir_kamal The first year, but do contact us a year later if you'd like an extension. ;)
Dionis Loire
@mrahmadawais We use this to help you find people to share the list with, it's a social collaboration platform. You can always create an account using plain e-mail and password, if you'd like.

Taskade 2.0 is the evolution of what the team started with 1.0, a faster and more elegant way to manage tasks right from your browser. The product has added mobile apps and desktop apps. There's also now templates, notes, chat, video and more. Check it out and ask the team for what you want built next!

@hnshah @johnxie What about some way to see all the outstanding tasks assigned to me. A kind of 'must have'.
John Xie
@hnshah @stowe_boyd Thanks for the suggestion. We are working on an overview of your pending and assigned tasks. For now, you can use the newly launched Search feature at https://www.taskade.com/search Follow our product roadmap here https://www.taskade.com/v/B1Q8lM...

Used taskade for a while and love the product. I'd recommend anyone to give it a shot! It makes working with remote team members much, much easier and keeps everyone in sync.

Pros:

Setting and sharing tasks are super easy. VIdeo chat is a big plus for keeping everyone on the same page.

Cons:

None I can find so far.

Software like slack touted to revolutionize email, but I've found it difficult to keep track of conversations even with the threads. It requires a different piece of software to actually track the tasks, thus you can end up overlapping software for tasks and communication. With Taskade, every conversation refers back to the task list. It gives me and my team the ability to discuss a project while offering the ability to see the project timeline, tasks, priorities on the same screen. Taskade is easy to use and combines the best elements of a simple Todo-list with powerful workflow templates that make managing projects and teams a breeze.
John Xie
@codymclain Thanks for the thoughtful comment Cody, this is super on point. Taskade integrates messaging and task lists in one place to make collaborating simple, fast, and focused. This means removing the noise, so teams and individuals can stay focused and on task.

I'm a big fan of Notion and markdown, would love to see integration or syncing across to my other tools as well to help with consolidating

Pros:

Very easy to access, whenever I open a tab -- it's there. User friendly, great UX for making quick notes on the fly

Cons:

Would love to see more functionalities so I can move more of my work onto one single tool

@juhaszhenderson Thank you! We will continue to make sharing and collaboration frictionless, part of our original mission with Taskade.

I've been a big Taskade user for the last couple years. My teams use it for all sorts of things: meeting notes, stand up call agendas, improvised task lists, content calendaring etc. It's really versatile and frictionless to use. Just hop in a list and go from there. I'm excited to see how far the Taskade product has gone. I transitioned my team off of Asana & Quip and have no regrets.
John Xie
@evankimbrell Thanks for the continued support!

Brilliant update! I've been using Taskade on a daily basis for a while. Love that the product is laser focused on the tasks format - really helps me stay organized. Congrats @johnxie @lxcid @dionisloire for building such a thoughtful and elegant product experience.
Johny vino
Hardcore Asana user transformed to Taskade user For the past two years, I have been a Taskade user. I love being able to call our team on video and at the same time create a task. Taskade brings together on a single screen an experience of note-taking, task creation and video calling. Also love their cute goat app icon šŸ™‚
John Xie
@johnyvino Thanks! Awesome to hear you made the switch from Asana. We will keep doing our best and glad you like our icon / mascot too. If you have any questions or suggestions, just send it over to john@taskade.com. šŸ„³

Very clean and easy to use product! Big props to the product and design team behind Taskade. Do you plan to provide API access down the road to allow for Zapier or other webhook services to update workspaces?
Dionis Loire
@nickatloot Yeah definitely, so you can quickly generate lists from external sources to track them easily. The ideal is a 2-way binding mechanism, naturally.
John Xie
@nickatloot Thanks Nick. API is high on our priorities list. Do you have any specific requests for API access? Feel free to send us any details to support@taskade.com or comment on our public roadmap here https://www.taskade.com/v/B1Q8lM...

This is awesome! Curious about the video integration, what prompted it? Also what did you build the underlying video tech in?
John Xie
@liveink Thanks Kelvin. We wanted to help remote teams bring everyone onto the same page for their agendas, scrums / stand-ups, and meetings. That meant integrating a collaborative task list with real-time messaging / video call. The underlying video tech is based on WebRTC.
Marcos Dias Alves

A bit expensive for a personal / solo user.

Pros:

We do not need a separate app to have board view! Taskade has it nativelly.

Cons:

I'd like to have a dashboard consolidating tasks from all or selected lists.

John Xie
@marcos_dias_alves Taskade is now free to use for individuals and teams with unlimited tasks, projects, and project / workspace collaborators. Check out https://taskade.com/pricing/ to learn more.
Peter Frank
I'm finding Taskade super useful even in "single player mode" to manage my to-do list. I love the Chrome extension which really matches my flow for getting things done.
John Xie
@peterkimfrank Great to hear! Taskade is designed for teams and individuals. Feel free to use it personally, just know you have the ability to share and collaborate instantly whenever you'd like. You can share individual task lists, or inviting your team members into workspaces.
