Sentiment analysis and team metrics visualization for Slack

looks really interesting, would be fascinating to get this data running against some "off line" indicators, eg: a list of employees who quit Vs a control sample to flag for potential leaving risks through recognition of engagement changes/tone of text patterns. I like the relationship mapping feature, in a virtual world mapping out a crowd's dynamics is something that is lacking compared to how easy it is to understand offline.

Hi, I’m Georgi Apostolov at TellTrail We want to help companies switch to remote work by providing them with team morale and team engagement data. Allowing them to visualize team communication patterns, identify unspoken, communication problems, identify overworked employees, and identify bad communication practices. Looking forward to your feedback!

Great job, The data looks interesting, Can you help me understand what are practical business problems that I can solve with it please? Congrads on your launch and all the best luck with your project

@garintheengineer With the "communication network graph" you can quickly see: - Who are the key people in your team, related to communication. - Which people are left out of conversations and teams - Identify strong ties between people, who communicate with each other With the "conversation grouping": - You can quickly find your own public and private conversations, sorted by member, channel, emotion, date Conversations are bundled messages - they do not include private messages of other members. With the "Workspace/Channel Analysis": - Identify Workspace/Channel mood through a line chart of emotion. - Find "Topics" discussed in the Channels and their Emotion And last but not least, the Network Graph and the Channel Analysis visualize on data from today, last week, last month, or last quarter. All the functionalities are made so that the managers and the employees would have a better understanding of their communication data. I am always looking for good ideas that could improve the product

Does it analyze a message and provide the tone review while you're typing (think Grammarly tone analysis)?
George Apostolov
@rvelitskiy I was thinking about adding something like that but unfortunately, right now it does not have grammar correction. The analysis of the messages is around sentiment and emotion of the messages, topic extraction. Also for analysis in real-time like Grammarly, you would need a full-featured Slack application or a browser extension because right now Slack does not have a way to add grammar checking by a bot.
Roman Velitskiy
@telltrail I'm not talking about grammar correction, but exactly about tone analysis (that as I can see the service already does) but built into the message input box.
George Apostolov
@rvelitskiy That is an interesting suggestion. I am not aware if Slack allows such an integration into their message input box. But it definitely sounds interesting. The way I would approach this problem is by developing a browser extension similar to Grammarly but for tone analysis which will detect the input box and analyze the message in real-time. As I said right now Telltrail does not provide a feature like that, because I haven't found an easy way to include it in the current package. If you have some ideas how this feature can be implemented differently please let me know. I am always open for new ideas and improvements.
