The best $5 I ever spent. It's now $8, but still worth it. I have TONS of ideas for v2. If you sit on video conference calls with slides being shared, this is a dream for capturing information you can use in your daily duties.

Purchase TextSniper and use it forever. Major upgrades and features come at an additional upgrade cost.
Just 4,28€ and I can quickly copy and paste text and numbers from PDFs. Will save me from a lot of typos and also save me time. What a bargain :-)

No it does not. It can't recognize text over period of time.
Discovered this super-nifty utility shared on Reddit. Purchased it for $5 (launch promo on their website). Hope the developers keep supporting it.

Currently, TextSniper fully supports the English language. Some Latin languages could have issues with accented character recognition. We are considering to add more languages.

Good question.
Ones I was watching dev conference on YouTube, presenter shared some GitHub repository link to the viewers. The link was on the screen. So I had to pause the video and type it manually into the browser. You know, it takes a lot of time and could have some typos. Then I thought how cool it would be if I could just select some area on the screen with text and convert it to the editable text copied to clipboard That how I started to develop TextSniper.
