I paid for The Permissionless Apprentice as soon as it was released. It flipped the the way I think about my approach to all relationships. Since its release many TPA students have flipped from twiddling their thumbs waiting on the sidelines to walking the red carpet with their heros. This is a metaphor :) You will get it for far less than I paid. I am so happy @jackbutcher is releasing his baby for (almost) free to change as many minds that are open to the flip. I see the whole VV community getting more and more elevation as time goes on, Jack really does have something special with his courses. (The power of less + simplicity.) @shivam_jha3 As another $100 club member, I'm curious what you remember/learned from the first time through? (I've been judging book/course value by what I remember 6 months later, which is why I'm curious.) Something that stuck with me is the website review that @uxblake did in the case studies. I realised how powerful someone can be with a mic, a camera, and a computer. No edits needed! 🔋

@jamesskon i'd got it for a friend who was looking for a job at the time. i came across Jack in a twitter thread and i thought it was the right approach to lead with proof of work and portfolio. These were exactly what my friend was missing. i mostly consume Jack's content on YT and twitter. I find it hard to sit down and finish a course but i think i'll skim through the course today, synthesize and share my key takeaways on twitter. permissionless -ly :')

@kasia_manolas I'd love to hear if there was any case study/lesson that stuck out to you! I just mentioned in another comment that the case study of @uxblake and a website/UI review practice he had w/o asking for permission. It really stuck with me and encouraged me that anything is possible without additional equipment.

@mark_gray2 Awesome to hear Mark, I feel the same, but you've described it more elegantly than I could ever hope to. 🙇🏼‍♂️ I'm curious if there was any specific lesson or case study that stood out to you? I'm trying to collect some perspectives other than my own to see what I missed. Build Once, Sell Twice was also amazing! I hope you enjoy it. The 'Productize' concept is insane. Clearly spelled out and unforgettable.

Succinct and powerful, especially so if you're ready to roll up your sleeves and do the work. Designers, makers and entrepreneurs, this is the ratchet and blueprint you've been hunting for. I'll admit I signed up to this when it was free, but got so much value out of it I would happily pay thousands if this came from a business coach. Just working my way through How to Visualize Value and Build Once, Sell Twice — all I can say is @jackbutcher delivers. It wouldn't surprise me if Permissionless Apprentice is responsible for spawning an entire crop of future Product Hunt success stories.

the lack of line breaks broke the review - alas! you can find a screenshot of how it should have looked in the replies on Jack Butcher's tweeter. that aside, the fact that I spent ~1 hour on that review should tell you all you need to know. also, it's $1 - and the most memorable dollar I've ever spent. solid call on shifting from free to $1 for this stellar product, Jack.
