As is the story of many products on this website, thirdauthor was built as a tool for myself - a happy medium between manual pen-and-paper journaling, and posting on X or Reddit. These arenas are sometimes too public for my taste in writing. I craved a medium that almost exists but doesn't. one to explore your thoughts, and those of others, but peripherally. The emphasis should be on the author - you are the third author of your own life, memories, and future, as you direct and revise yourself today to who you'll be or desire to be tomorrow.
