This Song Plants Trees - Focus edition — Plant Trees for free while you work/study/meditate or sleep
Add this 31 second song to Spotify. We'll plant a tree for every 100 or so streams. So far its been streamed 1.4 million times and planted 14,000 trees. Now with relaxing white noise and rain sounds you can play in the background while you work/study or sleep.

Plant a forest while you sleep
One year ago I launched the world's first mptree -a 31 second recording you can add to your Spotify playlist. For every 100 streams, we'll plant a tree.
Many people thought it was some kind of scam or too good to be true. Thankfully thousands of listeners got behind the project. We planted 14,000 trees in Kenya, Madagascar and Mozambique.
The main complaint is listening to the same recording over and over gets tedious. That's why we're launching new white, brown and pink noise recordings and natural rain sounds.
You can listen to them while you're working, studying, meditating or sleeping.
Once again 100 plays = 1 tree.
That means listening to our white noise recording for less than two hours will plant 1 tree.
We have editions in 5 languages now so I'd like to introduce some of the people who helped make that happen:
@matthew_gordon guys, I'm an amateur singer and compositor and did the Spanish version, as I love the idea of joining music and protection for the environment in a single project. I'm amazed on hoy many trees has been planted so far and hope thousands more can be planted in the future.

Congratulations @matthew_gordon. A very creative way to generate funds for good. Your focus on the benefits and use cases for individuals (work, sleep, meditation) should make it attractive to a wider audience, making it more than 'just' an easy way of doing social good.
