Have you also encountered the dilemma when formatting takes much longer than writing? Imagine, or as you might sadly recall, this situation - you’ve meticulously created document for hours with the almost perfect font size, alignment indentation, and paragraph spacing; at the very final stage, your boss wanted some minor changes or your colleague opened it in a wrong way; all your efforts in formatting becomes in vain. This is frustrating, even just to think about it. PDF might be a possible solution pops up in your mind. However, the inflexibility of PDF brings another headache to you. Inspirations are sparkling at your eureka moment, while the flow of ideas is constantly interrupted by sizing, bolding, or listing. We can’t let this happen. Here comes the beauty of Markdown, and that's why I would like to recommend the latest version of TickTick to you. For a quick start, please read through our brief guide in how to use Markdown at TickTick: https://blog.ticktick.com/post/1...

@printemps_biz Hi there! It's great to hear TickTick helps with your team management. As you mentioned, the note-taking feature in project management is very helpful to capture sparkling ideas and sharing notes. This is also one of the motivations for us to develop Markdown for TickTick ; )

Been using TickTick for about a year now, one of the few apps out there that covers the bases that I’m looking for from a to-do app (most important one being having the ability to combine my calendars and tasks into one view. The people who say the two need to be separated frustrate me!). The Markdown feature will definitely make adding lengthy notes/tasks easier. Something that wasn’t the cleanest thing to do in TickTick before (which was a shame since it also has a ‘plan your day’ feature - giving it feature parity with sorted3 on the iPhone, as an example, in basically everything way except for the note taking! (And obviously loads of other features). To me the thing that is lacking is the List & item/Tag management - such as the lack of projects (and as the sidebar reflects this it also makes managing events a little weird from the side bar. I mainly stick with the Calendar View). The newly added ‘focus’ lists are nice, but without having the ability to have Projects they kind of made me have to re-think the way I manage my lists as ‘Personal’ and ‘Work’ were list groups with regular lists either being regular lists or projects depending on the need (which sucked a bit since I would have to either add a ‘misc’ list for tasks not assigned to a project and/or add a list to show all the items assigned to a group - either way I had to add items giving me more to sort through). Looking forward to seeing what else you guys come up with!

@appoli Hi Allen, thank you for the very detailed feedback! TickTick team will look into these issues for better solutions. Let me keep you posted whenever there is a substantial progress. Thank you!
