You don't have to transfer each element from Figma to Tilda and rebuild your website design from scratch in the website builder anymore. Automate the process: Prepare your design in Figma and import it into Tilda with just a few clicks.
Hey, hunters 👋
I’m Nikita, CEO & founder of the Tilda website builder. I'm thrilled to share an impressive timesaver and handy feature: Figma To Tilda Design Import.
At Tilda, we are dedicated to simplifying the website design process. With the Figma To Tilda Design Import, we're bridging the gap between your design creation and website building, making it a seamless experience.
You don't need to transfer every element from Figma to Tilda manually anymore. Now you can effortlessly import your designs, which means more time for creativity and less time spent on the technicalities.
As a designer, I know the frustration of recreating layouts from one platform to another. Tilda users have mentioned this as well, so our team and I determined to make the process smoother for fellow creators and built this automation.
The process is as easy as 1, 2, 3: prepare the Figma layout, generate the API token, copy the URL, and click the "Import" button, done! Here’s the detailed guide with a video tutorial: https://help.tilda.cc/zero-figma...
Please share your feedback: Your insights not only mean the world to us but are also crucial in shaping the future of the platform!
Thanks for using Tilda and let’s keep making web design smoother together! 💻✨
It’s a must-have tool for anybody, who wants to not only export their designs but also launch an actual website. It's very satisfying to see your long worked-on layout go live in an instant.
I'm really looking forward to other useful integrations that Tilda Publishing has in store for us!
It's very impressive how Tilda is getting bigger and more complicated (in good way). All new features are helping to create websites for anything. Just keep going guys!
I’m super excited to see this feature here because now more people can discover it. Funnily enough, the import was one of the major factors why I decided to switch to Tilda over a year ago and make it my go-to website builder.
I use it for all my projects, but exporting designs can be a hassle. Usually you do all of it manually—download the images, recreate the elements like shapes and buttons from scratch based on the prototype you have on Figma, copy-paste text content to related text boxes, etc... After that you have to make sure that things like colors, fonts, spacing and positioning are correct and match the original.
Using Import illuminates almost all the manual work, and it’s not even the best part. The best part for me is that your website is ready to go online right then and there.
Congrats on the launch and big thanks to the team for this fantastic feature!
@a_shpv Thank you, Alex! Very inspiring story:) Special thanks for describing all the nuances of importing manually - it really often seems like an overwhelming burden. Glad to be able to simplify the design process!
A seamless and frictionless transition of designs from Figma to Tilda... this is excellent news, and yet another reason why choose Tilda for building your website. Well done! What's next?
@obukhov_nikita, your Figma to Tilda Design Import looks amazing! It's so helpful to have an automated solution for transforming designs into live websites - what a time-saver! Everyone, go check it out now! 🤩
Congratulations on the launch! As a web designer, I believe that many fellow-designers will find this feature extremely useful. In fact, for some people it could be the determining factor in whether or not they choose to sign up for Tilda. It's actually kind of surprising that there aren't many decent alternatives out there, so thank you for creating this one and keeping it free.
@otman_alami Great question, thank you, Otman! Animation is set up directly in Zero Block. You can either use Basic animation with pre-designed effects such as fade-in or parallax effects (here's more about it: https://help.tilda.cc/zero-block...) or create custom sequences using the Step-by-Step Animation (more on this: https://step-by-step-animation.t...)
Both tools were designed especially for web design.
Also, you may want to check our Web Animation Course with plenty of cool effects and guides on how to make them on Tilda: https://tilda.education/en/web-a...
Looks great, need to prepare existing layouts in Figma a bit and then import versions into Tilda. Auto-updates - will definitely come in handy in the future, it can cut down the time to production significantly. Huge support to the Tilda team
Hi Tilda team,
Thank you for the amazing website builder and for introducing the new feature! I've been using Tilda for years now, and I wonder how it works with adaptive versions? Do you still need to adjust ipad & mobile versions by hand to make it look good?
I also tried to use some plugins last year to transfer Figma layout to Tilda, yet it wasn't working good, as you still needed to fix many things by hand to make them pixel-perfect.
Looking forward to trying it out!
@darya_skd Hey Darya! Thank you for this post! All the pre-designed blocks are responsive by default while Zero Block (the built-in web design editor) allows you to manually adjust the layout for different screens, providing more flexibility in terms of mobile web design.
Well, now the plugins are not needed anymore, the Figma To Tilda Import allows you to get the pixel-perfect layout imported to the platform automatically. You'll just need to check the responsive layouts for mobile devices and you are good to go!
This is a 100% time-saver, mood-saver, client-saver, family-saver, etc 😅 I mean, this feature may seem like a small improvement, but it can actually make a huge difference in your life as a designer, because if you calculate how many hours it saves you per week, per month, per year..... So that it can free up a lot of time to spend with your kids, reading, studying - you name it! All this is just to say that the feature is awesome, thanks for making it so accessible!
Congratulations Team Figma to Tilda Design Import on your incredible launch on Producthunt! This is a much-needed interface automating the design transfer and saving countless hours for designers. As a suggestion, maybe adding a feature to monitor changes and automatically update the Tilda website when changes are made in the Figma design could make it even more all-rounded. Fantastic work!
@manmohit Hey there! Thanks a million for your feedback! And for an amazing idea!! Automatic design updates seem to be one of the next challenges, the logic is yet to be determined. But how great that you are looking ahead!
This Figma to Tilda design import tool is a game-changer! The prospect of effortlessly bringing Figma designs into Tilda sounds like a real time-saver for designers! Kudos to the creators for making the workflow faster and easier!
@marie_kochetkova Hey Marie, thank you so much for your kind words! We really hope this feature will save a lot of time for designers and allow them to use it for creative tasks!
Over the years, I have tried many different solutions for exporting designs from Figma. Call me old school, but at the end of the day I would always go back to manual transfer, just because using third-party tools tends to cause even more hassle. Overall, it’s not that bad, it just requires time and patience.
So imagine how excited I was when I discovered that there is in fact a website builder that provides a built-in solution for exporting designs from Figma. After trying out this one, you won’t ever feel the need to look for anything else or get back to manual transfer.
Thanks team, and congrats on the launch!
Exporting designs from Figma used to be the thorn in my side… Especially at times when I’m creating a multiple-page website with a complex design and on a tight schedule. This import feature can save you literally hours of manual work. Highly recommended!
The best part about this one for me–no need to convert designs to HTML/CSS. In fact, no coding involved whatsoever.. For web designers with busy schedules (or those feeling a bit lazy:)) like myself, it’s a game-changer. Guys at Tilda are really dedicated to their no code concept.
Genuinely love this thing, thank you team!
The main perk for me is zero coding and no HTML/CSS conversion hassle. It says “automatic” in the description, and it is actually an automatic transfer.
Definitely a must-try for web designers seeking optimizing the design process.
First of all, it’s really cool to see how Tilda is constantly updating and adding new features. This import feature is not exactly new but it’s become an essential part of my day-to-day design process. It not only saves time, it’s transformed the whole exporting routine for me—it is now pretty much completely hassle and stress-free.
Big kudos and congrats to the team! Can’t wait to see what you’re going to come up with next!
A big shout-out to the team for this feature! 🚀
My experience with it and with Tilda in general has been nothing short of amazing.
The import though helps save so much time that can be spent on other things, allowing me to be more productive and get more work done. I only wish I had discovered it sooner :)
