@wilschroter and his team just launched startups.co 2.0! After acquiring websites like Clarity, Zirtual and Killerstartups they have now incorporated all these key knowledge tools into one platform, serving over 1 million startup founders.

Will it become something like community blog? There are a bunch of places where founders can tell theirs stories. Why should I use Startup.co? I think because there are a lot of best practices covering the most hardest parts of founders' job - marketing, fundraising, being a lawyer or production manager under the same hat. I wish your website be the best at spreading stories about such stuff. Fail stories too. Thanks!
Wil Schroter
@v_ignatyev We'd encourage founders to use as many resources as possible - there's no one point where someone would get "everything" and not need another site. We'd like to become part of that reading list, not a replacement for reading lists ;) That said, we'd like to bring as much great founder-written content as possible onto the platform.

Really excited to share our first step toward building out the Startups.co community. When we were building this site we thought about many of you on PH and other forums where Founders come together to share what they are working on. While there's always a lot of glory around getting big headlines and landing huge funding rounds, our site and our community isn't really about that. It's not about fake metrics and artificial buzz - we feel that's a broken narrative. We're about creators who care deeply about what they are building and want to start companies that are genuinely meaningful to them, not the media or investors alone. Our initial approach consists of four areas - Education, Answers, Reviews and Articles. The next iteration of the site will focus on interactivity, allowing the 1 million registered startups to start interacting proactively with each other. The content will continue to focus around telling the Founder's story, preferably from the Founders themselves. I'd love to hear your thoughts about more ways we can provide a home for Founders to work together and share their journey and their wisdom. This is the beta - much more to come! @wilschroter Looks great. I dont think we can never have enough collective intelligence on starting up. Would love to help out with some articles.

@rameshdot0 can you shoot me an email - wil@startups.co - and we can chat?
John
@wilschroter is incredibly serious about helping companies. About 5-6 years ago I sent him a way-too-long n00b email and he quickly responded point-by-point with meaningful advice. Looking forward to seeing this grow. Congrats Wil.

I'd really like to subscribe in my news reader, but Feedly wasn't able to find a feed url. Any plans to add rss?

The first few articles I clicked on had a tl;dr at the top (aka an abstract). I LOVE that. Not because I don't want to read the article, but it helps to decide if I want to spend the next 3-8 minutes perusing this article, or move on to the next one. Wish all articles did that!

The design is beautiful, but the ajax-y page loading breaks the back button. The resulting user experience is kind of jumpy.

First thoughts: awesome! After checking out the website: looks super bloated..
Wil Schroter
@arturkiulian what aspect? It's a ton of information pared down quite a bit.

@wilschroter Just too much information for a landing page I guess, felt too overwhelmed. Other than that - super awesome site ;)
