Hi there,
I used to work in a web agency. Time tracking was always a struggle. One of my (dev) coworkers ended creating a small app for himself to track the time he spent on each task, for each project, etc.
Now that I'm a freelancer, well... same problem arises. In order to make sure I'm profitable for each gig, I track my time and I used to do it with spreadsheets. But it's quite "suboptimal". So I created a small tool, very similar to the one my colleague had created. One can create jobs, assign tasks to jobs, delete jobs/tasks and export it as an Excel file (because who doesn't love a good old spreadsheet?).
I showed it to a friend of mine and he said "wow, that's cool, you should put it online". Well, I just did. Here it is!
The tool is free for everyone to use, I don't track you, and all of your data is stored locally on your compter.
Sounds like a super handy tool! Just gave it a look, and I like the simplicity of tracking time and tasks without all the fuss. Exporting to Excel is a nice touch too.Congrats on putting it online.
This is a great idea! Tracking time manually is such a pain, and this makes it so much easier. I love how everything stays local on your machine, unlike other apps that collect your data. Congrats on the launch!
