I'm always fascinated to see tangential apps and hacks people create for popular products like Tinder. While this app doesn't seem to add much additional functionality (afaik) other than the ability to use Tinder on the desktop, others like Snappy give Snapchat users the ability to add stickers, previously taken photos, and more. Companies may not be pleased about these unofficial hacks but they can use them to measure demand and learn from other peoples' ideas. cc @badeen

Hey ya'll, author here. I made this app because I though that $20/month for Tinder Plus (http://www.gotinder.com/blog/plus) was a bit outrageous, and also figured they could use a desktop app! It's free and open source, try it out and let me know if you have any questions!

@mfkp The "Tinder Ahead" feature is super interesting. Tinder's Passport is going to be a paid feature and "Tinder Ahead" seems to capture it quite well.

Open source should make this interesting! I can think of some interesting hacks/ bots combined with facial recognition.
