It's been a blast building Cala with @zack_hargett This project is our fun take on returning more time to your calendar and hopefully helping folks reflect on their meeting hygiene. Here's how it works: You'll log on in the morning to work and see an email from Cala asking you to swipe on today's meetings. Your meeting attendees will have received a similar email asking them to swipe. Because the daily email gets sent automatically, the awkwardness of asking, "Do you still want to meet?" is removed :). If one person swipes left and the other right, nothing happens. No one is notified, and you continue with your meeting. If both people swipe left, the meeting is automatically canceled in your calendar, and both parties are notified that the meeting has been canceled. Hooray! Now you get some time back. earlier in my career I had a manager who would message “chat or skip?” before every 1:1. it was super awkward every time and I wish we had used Cala instead 😅 can’t wait to try it!
