Hey there - excited to share this with everyone! 📅 This December 7-11, we’ll be holding our “Changemakers 2020” event, a week-long virtual hackathon where some of tech’s smartest minds will be paired with nonprofits to revamp their operations. 🤝 We created Changemakers because our work with nonprofits throughout the COVID pandemic inspired us to help more organizations in our communities who are making a true societal impact. - Nonprofits have the passion and vision to affect change, but so many of them are burdened with operational and technical challenges that slow them down. - They have limited money and resources that they would rather spend on their causes instead of these challenges. - Meanwhile, there are hordes of talented Makers in the tech community (like yourselves) who could give them exactly the skills they need to transform their operations! 👩🏼‍💻👩🏾‍💻👨🏿‍💻 Our nonprofit partners at Pledge 1% and Raise for Good are helping to bring in some outstanding nonprofits, and our tech partners like Google Developers, Fin Analytics, and Tonkean are bringing in the talent and free software to enable these projects. 🌎 We're looking to even the operational playing field with Changemakers and really draw on your immense expertise to make a world of difference with nonprofits who need your help. I hope you’ll sign up to volunteer your skills, and share with any nonprofit leaders or ops experts in your network to join us!

Really great mission here. Most folks think that just donating money to organizations is good enough, but a lot of that money is completely lost or used inefficiently because many non-profits can't invest in process/systems optimization. This brings the best maker/ops minds to non-profits so everyone's dollar donations go much further in the future!

Great initiative to help those in need! Very eager to start helping non-profits become operationally more efficient so that they can continue to put focus on helping make the world be a better place for all!
