I used this from 2013 and this is one of the best on the market. This version is cool with location, multi accounts and more, although I miss the simplicity of the old one.
Good luck and keep trying for Android and WP version. You guys need more speed.

@hoandesign We completely agree and this version did take us "a bit" too long. It is a complete overhaul of everything, from the design, UX, backend up to payments. Now that we have this solid base to build on, we'll be able to move much quicker.

@tamir_twina @hoandesign What do you mean? The 2.0 has been out for a while now, just download the app on App Store/Google Play or log in on toshl.com. We do have a Developer API which you can check out here: http://developer.toshl.com
We've recently also added an import option in the web app, which you can use to import your bank data in CSV, QIF, QFX, OFX formats.
For a year and a half, I worked for a personal finance app. I can say from experience how hard it is to create something in that space that normal people can really get excited about and use in a way that builds long term habits.
I got to know the Toshl guys while they were in 500 Startups MV accelerator. I love that these guys are throwing out all the preconceived notions of what's been done before and trying things that are different and new.
@thorpus Thank you Justin. We are trying to make finance more fun and dispel the usual notions of the personal finance boredom. :) We sure hope the Product Hunt community will like what Toshl has to offer.
wow great product I tried all the other finance / budget apps and only this one allows fast flexibility to manage budgets and expenses how I want. Other ones force doing it a certain way.
really this product is a hidden gem, so glad I found it. No other personal finance app makes correlating credit card to budget so flexible and usable.
I have been a paying customer of Toshl since May 2013. The new version of the Toshl website is far less usable than the previous version. The transactions data (my data, thousands of records carefully entered over three and a half years) is now relegated to a narrow column on the right of the screen, with most of the screen area given over to confusing visualisations and weird artwork.
They could have improved the display of my data, the editing facilities or the search capability, but instead they seem to have spent two years drawing weird art and forgetting anything they knew about UI design. If it wasn't for the Android app I would already be back to using a spreadsheet. I am trialling YNAB.
Development looks like it has slowed down in recent years. A lot of catching up to do with the big guys. I moved *from YNAB* because Toshl offers bank sync and a decent enough UX/UI. However, a big, big miss on even basic features for a tracking/budgeting/finance app.
Budgets are broken in their current state. Categories (and tags) are not shared between expenses and incomes, which can lead to a lot of duplication. No bulk editing is possible, at least at this time.
I want Toshl to work out for me, but it may be that I return to YNAB. Not because I need "zero based budgeting," but because the way Toshl works makes it impossible to use it for realistic use cases. I even built a syncing tool for myself, only to realize the "Budgets" feature is a let down. I wish them luck. This is still #1 on my list to try again someday and give it another serious go.
Doesn't care about his customer. Charge me a year without warning me. Asking for a refund since I never used the tool post signup and never been warned about the payment.
@fer_ananda Of course, in fact, since we've first published here on Product Hunt, we've added automatic syncing with over 9000 US and Canadian banks and plan to add lots more banks with automatic syncing worldwide.

@egillund Hey, I'm not completely sure what you mean. You can set budgets to track all accounts, or just specific accounts. Budgets can cover both credit cards and cash, as well as other types of financial accounts. Please contact us at support@toshl.com if you have any further questions.
