@wadefoster we didn't look at Zapier, but that probably would have helped a lot. We're past the point of no return at this point though with our own custom solution, which also uses our own product, but services like Trello and Github that are typically going to be integrated with other things should promote integrations more.

We used Trello a lot at GoInstant, but found it didn't talk as well as we would have liked with other things we use like GitHub. We're rolling our own Trello-esque tool, which we'll be releasing soon for people to try that we think is pretty cool. But generally, I'm a big fan of Trello.

@byosko When are you planning on releasing this new tool? Maybe I missed it already since this thread is so old.

@byosko If you want something like Trello for a GitHub flow, have you seen waffle.io?

@byosko bit of a shameless plug, but did you check out some of the Zapier integrations for Trello/GitHub? https://zapier.com/zapbook/trell... Curious your take.

@byosko @wadefoster Zapier also did an awesome article on Kanban in email: https://zapier.com/blog/kanban-g... You included Drag, kindly :). Just launched Pro today btw. Wade I'd love your view on 'Trello in email', https://www.producthunt.com/post...

@jackdweck Wow. That's a lot more pricey than the Hall acquisition.

@jackdweck That's a lot of Taco's! Hope nothing changes with the platform. It's awesome.

Great product guys, I had been using it from 2012. One feature request if I may:) Sometimes when you share a task with other members you may want to have checklist items assigned to different members. It would be nice if you could see who is doing what. On the other hand it maybe redundant because you can get away with just including the name of the person in the caption. Just thinking out loud:)

Brilliant for managing all your project backlogs in a Kanban fashion. Including a list for the DIY tasks around the house.

As a Marketer I use this daily to manage workflow, sort ideas around future content and prioritize my activities. My team collaborate and report using handy integrations with Google and we use it as a Customer service and Sales script repository to store links to docs and how-to videos.

Pros:

Great for visual Agile Kanban Boards, GDT lists and creating sitemaps

Cons:

Can't set due dates and go live dates to view when things will go live in a secondary calendar view.

Wow! Cool!

We use KanBan boards in our manufacturing floor and my suggestion to use display boards with Trello has been a great integration.

Pros:

Great project management site.. the use of cards for projects is what I use Trello for!

Cons:

None that I can think of...

This is worrying - Atlassian tools are clunky. Trello just works effortlessly. I made a visual bug tracker extension for Trello and Jira. - http://traceybugcop.com/ Jira was ugly, Trello was easy.

Really great organization app for any project/task. Very useful tool for screenwriters as well. Break down each column by act and use the cards to break down scene by scene. The iphone app is very easy to use. Would recommend!

I think most people know about Trello already (although I might be surprised -- recently found out there are people on this earth that don't know about Rapportive) but it's worthy of the attention. @nbashaw and I have been using it for Product Hunt.
