Have been using Typito for quite some time. And I must say this feature was much needed. However, do I have to add the captions manually or do you provide a way to convert speech to text?
Conversion of Speech to text would be a killer provision to this feature.

You can add captions using any of the following methods:
1. Automatic speech to text: Just like you asked for. It creates captions automatically once you upload the video. The captions will be editable.
2. Upload your SRT file: You can upload your SRT file with timecodes. Typito will create the text overlays and place them through the video appropriately. Like above, these captions are editable.
3. Add manually: Here you add each caption manually and type the words out and time them individually.

This was very much needed. I still remember using YouTube to generate a SRT file. What a pain it was :/ . Which engine you are using to process the speech to text?
@himanshu_gupta1 Yea, the YouTube method was good but cumbersome and quite limited in customization. We are bringing the best of captions with the power of free-flow, drag-drop editing that Typito is built around. We are on Google cloud engine.

Now that's a very useful feature. I am guessing this comes with your higher plan? Excited to try it out and see what happens to the 'ummm', 'hmms' and 'you knows'. Keep the great work going guys!

@aditi_sinha1 We are launching instant captions with automatic 'speech to text' for English language as of now.
For any other language, you can upload your own SRT file with timecodes and Typito will support it.

That's a really neat idea to make a video in social media stand out. Typito seems really easy to use, I give you kudos for that!
I'd like to ask why do you have such a focus on LinkedIn on your website? Despite the fact that you can export videos to Facebook and YouTube which are more popular platforms in my opinion.

That's a beautiful question regarding the messaging on website! Our intent is definitely not to ignore other top social media platforms when marketing it far and wide.
LinkedIn video is blowing up and we are currently obsessed about enabling a new wave of video storytellers and designers on the platform while the organic reach is crazy high (unlike Facebook/YouTube). Even my first video got 6000 views and 100+ likes without any promotion on LinkedIn :)
We are testing a hypothesis that a PH launch here along with the focussed messaging on the landing page will help the SEO and ranking of the page for LinkedIn audience at the least. Just an experiment :)
We will definitely market the captions for other platforms as well and create multiple landing pages with different messaging to a wider audience.
