Loved it, so many app curation not just as screenshot but also interaction videos. Thanks for building this, it is gonna be really helpful ๐๐ป Any plans for web based products also as part of the curation?
Hey everyone! I first launched UI Sources nearly 2 years ago with a couple apps and micro interactions. Since then, I've added over 700+ interactions and 2000+ screenshots of some amazing apps.
Here's how I got started: Iโm a UI/UX designer and I often find myself installing new apps to check out the design and how they do certain product flows. I then take a bunch of screenshots for future reference. Over time I found screenshots limiting because:
๐ With static screens, it's hard to visualize full product flows
โจThe best apps use animations and microinteractions in interesting ways that screenshots just can't capture
๐ฑThey would get lost in my camera roll and were hard to find when I needed them
Over the past few weeks, I've been working on a redesign to take UI Sources to the next level! The site now has a subscription tier for those that want to support the site and get additional functionality.
โ Thereโs now two plans: Free and Pro. All content remains accessible under the Free plan, but advanced filtering has been moved to UI Sources Pro. For all ProductHunters today, I've created a special code for 10% off any plan. Use PRODUCTHUNT2020.
Excited to be launching again today, looking forward to hear what you all think!
This is amazing! I find myself crawling Dribbble constantly looking for stuff like this or downloading a bunch of apps and signing up just to see onboarding flows etc. I've bookmarked the site and will definitely use it going forward.
In terms of monetization the other thing I'm always looking for are Figma templates for screens. Perhaps you could also create a marketplace with templates inspired by or in the style of the flows you're observing and either provide them as part of the subscription or sell them ad hoc?
You could even go farther and provide actual usable components in a place like AppGyver with its component marketplace. Either way, really great stuff thanks for building this!

@evomoore thanks for the feedback Evan. That's an interesting idea, will explore further! The previous version of the site had a page dedicated to UI Kits (https://www.uisources.com/ui-kits), but haven't migrated it to the new design yet
@faridchaouki1 Right now โ the screenshots are high res but arranged as a composite image. Drop me an email with what your use case is, maybe I can help! Abhinav at uisources dot com
