as one of the early batch paid user, I can ensure you there are lots of improvement since the early days. love the new analytics and mailing list features.

Hi Felix, this looks amazing, very user friendly and just at glance you can tell the amount of work that's gone into it! Which features would you say set Landen apart the most from other similar tools? (Also, was your website built with Landen?)
Alexis Taylor
@juanpablosarmi Yes, Landen's own website is made with Landen too. The main difference to most competitors right now is the ease of use. A lot of customers have tried other solutions but found them too clunky or not flexible enough.
JC Alvarez
@juanpablosarmi @felix_gurtler I agree with Felix, I personally moved away from Squarespace because it was NOT what I needed, I looked into Webflow and it was too much for what I needed and the learning curve at least for me was a bit much.

I love how simple Felix made this product to use. Pure genius from a pro!

Pros:

Clean, fast, simple to use and one beautiful site ready in no time.

Cons:

None.

I've been using Landen for a littler over 3 months and it's allowed us to very rapidly build our landing site with the design freedom we needed. I wouldn't call it a drag and drop editor, because it's a lot more powerful and customizable than that. We now make changes on the fly, allowing us to dedicate all of our resources on our product. Felix has always been very responsive and open to suggestions.

Pros:

- Simple, fast, and easy - New features added all the time - Very responsive team - Affordable yet powerful

Cons:

None for now

Does it support RTL language?

This niche is getting so crowded and its quite a tough task to stand out these days. I guess this seems a bit easier than other offerings out there. Even thou I'm a designer and developer for quick on the go landing pages i prefer these kinds of editor than the drag and drop (might be a personal preference).

most of the time are very limited, Linden is really less limited.

Pros:

The free plan, the block templates is really great!

Cons:

lack some flexibility but for this kind of tool is quite normal

Looks dope Felix! I'm loving all those changes and new features. Making a site literally takes a couple of a minutes and it's kick ass looking 😍Can't wait to see where you'll take Landen to
Alexis Taylor
Hey, everyone πŸ‘‹πŸ» It's been almost a year since I've launched the initial version of Landen. Back then it was a prototype built within 100 days. For a few months now I've taken the leap and started working on it full-time. A lot has changed since that first launch, so here are the most important new things: - Blogging platform: Sites can now have simple blogs on the same domain, with support for multiple authors, backdating, scheduling, and soon tags/categories. - Built-in analytics: Privacy is one of my core values, which is why is why sites now have built-in server-side analytics without intrusive tracking. Sure, it's not as powerful as Google Analytics, but most of it is there, and more improvements are coming. - Email capture: For many use-cases MailChimp & Co. can be overkill. If you're just looking to validate an idea, it's sometimes enough to just collect email addresses to gauge interest. That can now be done all within Landen. There are a ton more small and big changes which have taken Landen from a prototype to a viable player in the field. Have a look at https://app.landen.co/changelog for more details on whats new. Thanks to everyone who has supported Landen from the start, and I'm looking forward to your feedback!

Looking good! Was not disappointed to read what you put in the examples section :) However, as a designer, I'm not too happy about your tagline. Sure, it's an editor that works without knowing how to use a professional design tool. But without any idea how to create an appealing website, the tool doesn't hide that. I'm sure I could also build ugly pages with Landen 2.0 :D
Alexis Taylor
@filterfreak Hey Michael, you're right. I still need to improve on that copy. Also I might've gotten a bit ahead of myself. The ultimate goal is to really make it as hard as possible to create ugly sites, but Landen might not be quite there yet. As long as there's also a certain degree of customization, it will probably be impossible to prevent anyone determined enough from creating ugly pages.

Just used it today to build a landing page and I gotta say it's a delightful experience. Great job!

Simple and beautiful. Almost impossible to do something that doesn't look great. A good way to get up and running fast.

Finally Landen 2.0! Excited to see the changes and improvements.
