2.Do not focus on selling products -> Focus on providing value
3.make a customer survey on how often they would like to receive a newsletter and on which content they would like to receive
4.Make a survey for people who unsubscribe and let them choose a reason
Agreeing with all of the points mentioned already. And in addition, daily, weekly or monthly options should be easy to access. If I get annoyed and can't change it quickly, you lost 😉
My advice would be to make sure that you're both on the same page regarding what you want to accomplish with your newsletter, who your target audience is, and how often you plan to send it.
If you don't have those things figured out before you start, it can be really easy for one person to end up feeling like they're doing all of the work while their partner isn't pulling their weight.
