@mattaussaguel I have a question on your aggregating technique. I recently posted a material style item on Dribbble.com and it somehow got on your site along with my profile that I did not create. http://www.uplabs.com/posts/fold... came from my dribbble account - https://dribbble.com/shots/25820... (just curious, are you aggregating this content and how can you opt out of being sourced?)
@tayler2412 Hi Tayler, great question! UpLabs doesn't work the same way as Dribbble, nothing is automatically aggregated. The community can share anyone's content as long as the quality is great just like your shot. You can always opt out by emailing us hello@uplabs.com, we'll make sure none of your work will be showcased on the site in the future. But I don't see any downsides to be honest.
@mattaussaguel Why do you allow yourself to steal other people's work? You download them to your site without asking the content owner. I wrote to you in support of more than once. And you still haven't deleted all content.

@nachobuey This is the second time it has been showcased, they have made significant design changes and greatly expanded their marketplace since the last showcase.
@rrhoover The PH algorithm is quite obscure to me. I submitted UPLABS 20 days ago and it was not featured. Today it's been submitted again and it's the most voted of the day!!! Quite strange!
@ltroisi75 Let's say Ryan Hoover submits a product to the site, all of his followers would get notified which allows them to upvote the product if they like it. If you don't have many followers, people have to go to another tab to see newly submitted products.
@askdaylen of course I understand that some people are more influential than others. Nevertheless we are speaking about the same product. When I try to submit an already submitted product I'm notified I cannot, but few days later if an influencer does it no problem. Every day relative few products are submitted (about 100): it is not impossible for the PH team establishes if it worths to be featured or not. In the first case it gets traction and much more votes. In the second it remains in the limbo. I'm just saying that lex, dura lex, sed lex. In two months I noticed too many strange exceptions. I really love PH, but I'd like to have clearer and stable rules based on quality of submission!
@ltroisi75 @askdaylen Hey Luca, this is entirely my fault. We weren't ready to launch when you submitted it and the PH team helped me organize everything so I could launch today. Believe me, they're doing an awesome job! 🙂
@mattaussaguel @askdaylen I believe it's nobody's fault and I'm not against Product Hunt nor UPLABS, that are both very good platforms! I just would expect a more consistent behavior. @producthunt is becoming more a platform for launching than for discovering the most innovative product in advance. In my opinion PH should be more transparent about this aspect. Is it possible to arrange a launch on PH? Yes? How can people do it? Is it for free? Few days ago someone talked about a reservation option for startuppers: I was terrified because the Hunters become useless. From PH to PL (Product Launch)

I was being inspired by MaterialUp while I was designing a material android app. It's nice to have a 'Material Design' showcase somewhere.

Hi @mattaussaguel, it is an awesome product, BUT WHY IN THE *** DO YOU SHOW ALL A POPUP WHENEVER THE USER CLICKS ON ANY THING!!! WHY DO YOU FORCE PPL TO BUY THE PREMIUM PLAN EVEN IF THEY'RE JUST TRYING TO EXPLORE SOME IDEAS WITHOUT THE NEED TO DOWNLOAD.... { LOAD MORE IS AN EXAMPLE }.
