This is Ka Ling, Co-founder and CEO of Upsolve AI. My Co-founder @sergueib and I spent many years at Palantir and witness how building good analytics could look like. And we realize how hard it is for SaaS companies to build great analytics solution for their end users. As a result, we decided to build Upsolve AI.
We help software companies to build and offer analytics to their users in an easy manner. Within our platform, you could simply set up connection to your databases, build dashboards in an intuitive point-and-click manner, and then easily embed it in your product!
We are super excited to release our Embedded Business Intelligence (BI) feature! It is almost impossible for any SaaS company to build a single perfect dashboard that meets all of its users' needs. Because of this, SaaS products often need to provide data exports via CSV downloads or expose APIs for data extraction. Our Embedded BI feature allows your end users to customize their dashboards or build their own—all within your product! This increases usage retention, promotes user satisfaction, and enables users to make the most informed decisions based on data insights.

What inspired you to tackle embedded BI specifically?
We worked at Palantir and saw how analytics could be done well for enterprises. We want to make sure the smaller guys can do it too. And to start with, we want to first give analytics building power to B2B SaaS companies so they can build great analytics for their users.
How are developers using this in ways you didn't expect?
We end up having users using us for internal analytics and wanting to integrate data from like Hubspot and Stripe with data from their database. Because of that, we will be releasing our Data Plane feature soon. So our users can interact with data from databases, SaaS tools and APIs all via a single SQL-based interface. They can then do internal analytics on top of the harmonized data.
