75% of user researchers say they don’t do enough research. The same percentage aren’t satisfied with how much they use the research they do. But don't get the wrong idea: the state of the user research union is strong. Overwhelmingly, researchers are fulfilled, earn competitive salaries, and focus their efforts where they count the most—early on.
