Does your SaaS product have multiple users per account, or multiple accounts per user? Unlike other email automation tools, Userlist now supports companies, and allows you to onboard and engage teams in a smart way.

Yes! Let's go. I know a lot of product-led companies need this right now, especially as they think about expansion within an org.

@ramlijohn πŸ”₯We hope we can solve this for a bunch of them πŸ˜„

@ramlijohn Thanks so much Ramli πŸ™Œ

I've been using this feature behind a feature flag for a while. It has been great to completely separate user behavior with company behavior (e.g. User uses feature X or Company trial period ends / Company had failed payment). In my opinion, UserList is the only app who does this right. All the others I tried before were cumbersome to use and the data all ended up in a huge mess. With UserList I simply just use the library and it was set and forget. Congrats on the launch team! πŸš€ Highly recommend UserList! πŸ‘Œ

@michaelkoper Thanks for being part of our beta, couldn't make it happen without good feedback ;)

Thanks @charlieirish for hunting this! We're pretty excited about finally sharing this feature with everyone today. When @uibreakfast and I started working on Userlist a couple years ago, we set out to build a better behavior based email tool for SaaS companies. πŸ’ͺ We wanted SaaS business to be able to send targeted emails to their users based on their behavior. The right message at the right time instead of a stupid stream of irrelevant content. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”¬ However, we quickly realized that this doesn't cut it for most SaaS businesses (especially B2B). More often than not, a company account has many users of different roles, and in some cases a user can even be part of many companies. 😱 It was a pain to manage these relationships in Userlist and almost all other email automation tools we looked at. With this new feature things changed for Userlist, though. 🀩 Our data model allows tracking users, companies, and relationships between them. You can model one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many relationships and even track relationship properties (like the user's role in a company) or company events (like billing events). πŸ›  Our automation campaigns allows you to send messages to users (or subsets of users) based on things that happen in the companies they're part of. πŸ€“ Ultimately, we hope this allows SaaS business to send less, but more relevant emails to their users. 😎 Are you as excited about this as we are? We're looking forward to hear what you think about our solution to this problem. πŸ˜„

So... this is for B2B SaaS products so they can map the users to the companies that are using their product in UserList itself, right?
Benedikt Deicke
@pupeno Yes! In B2B SaaS it's not uncommon to have a company as the main account and then have multiple user accounts connected to that account. This feature allows you to model these relationships in Userlist and send appropriate messages to different users (billing emails to the billing contact, everything to the account owner, etc.)

Very excited to see this. Incredible product by two insanely competent founders.

@liamsarsfield Thank you, Liam. Means a lot coming from you! :)

Nice, I am amazed at how many SaaS tools don't have this functionality. So happy to see UserList implement this, as we can now look seriously at this solution for communicating with our customers in our HR SaaS.
Benedikt Deicke
@dsabar Looking forward to chatting with you about how we can make Userlist work for your HR SaaS! πŸ‘

Greetings everyone! Today at Userlist we're launching a big feature, which has been in beta for months. Company Accounts are now officially available πŸŽ‰ Now you can: ⭐️ Manage company accounts instead of juggling individual users ⭐️ Properly track one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many relationships between users and companies ⭐️ Properly store company data, instead of having to duplicate it across all users ⭐️ Enjoy powerful email automation opportunities (like only sending emails to people with specific roles in a company) We've opened up our calendars for more demos, and can't wait to take this for a test drive with new customers. We know for a fact, proper company support is a deal-breaker for many SaaS businesses. If you use Segment, your company structure will instantly work in Userlist, without any developer work required. Our direct API integration is also super-user-friendly, and we’re ready to assist anytime. Let us know if you have any questions! @benediktdeicke and myself are hanging out here to help.
