Hi everyone, 👋 My name is Waqar and I'm one of the co-founders of this product and I am very excited to share it here today. 💡Why we built it? It all started about 2 years ago, when my two co-founders and I began working on Usermaven (usermaven.com), a no-code analytics and attribution tool designed for simplicity and ease of use. We searched high and low for an analytics solution (for my previous SaaS companies) that was easy to use and didn't require a degree in computer science to set up. But unfortunately, all of the options we tried - GA, Mixpanel, Amplitude, and others - fell short. They were overly complex, hard to configure, and a huge time-sink for our team. Every time we made a change to our website or product, we had to ask developers, product managers, and marketing team to reconfigure event tracking and reporting. This was time-consuming and often got put on the back burner, so we never got the meaningful insights we were looking for. That's how Usermaven was born. 👉 What Usermaven can do for you? Usermaven is a simple privacy-friendly analytics tool for website and in-app user behavior tracking. Unlike other tools, Usermaven eliminates dependence on developers for tracking key actions performed by users on your website or app. Every button click, form submission, purchase or page visit is automatically tracked. Forgot tracking a key action after a design change? No worries, make use of retroactive data tracking to find insights from past data. Marketing people can: - Evaluate how each channel contributes to your conversion goals - Stay on top of new referrers and spot opportunities for growth - Track and compare the performance of your marketing campaigns with UTMs Product people can: - See onboarding drop-off areas to remove friction and increase activation rate - Track feature adoption and retention to build a better product experience - Measure all the key engagement metrics like DAU, WAU, MAU, and stickiness ratios - Find power users of your product or specific features And a lot more... Usermaven also has cookie-less tracking mode for privacy-focused companies. And also bypasses adblockers to get you accurate stats. Here's a demo video to help you learn more:
Thanks for reading, I am looking forward to your feedback and questions in the comments section.

@waq_azeem Google shot themselves in the foot when they made Analytics too complicated. Luckily I found Usermaven. It gives you a really comprehensive overview of your own website and you can go deeper if you want. There are constant updates and the program is getting better all the time. By far the best at the moment. I've tried Piwic and Bing's analytics tools and there's no need to change, I'll stay with Usermaven.

@waq_azeem awesome launch! The video is great, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this can add value to my team's marketing efforts.

Huge fan of Usermaven ever since I got to know Waqar. I was using a tool called Splitbee, and unfortunately, after the acquisition they stopped accepting new sign-ups. I wanted a similar tool - and decided to go with Usermaven + Posthog for Inbox Pirates and haven't looked back since. The weekly report was my personal request to Waqar and it has helped with analytics a tonne! The auto capture is just cherry on top of cake! Great job ?makers !

@goforbg Thank you and glad you liked what we built so far.

Such a game changing tool. I've been very lucky to be its early adopter. Its ease of use is something which I really like. Great team. They're shipping new feature every month. Keep making it more awesome!
Waqar Azeem
@usama_khalid Thanks for being an early adopter.

Congrats on the launch, Waqar. I'm amazed to see how far your team has come in such a short span. Loving all the fantastic updates. Keep up the great work!

Quick background on my tech stack, Segment.io & Heap (Our Web + Product analytics tool currently). We've been using Heap for sometime now, and always on the lookout for alternatives. I checked out the demo, somethings I loved - the pixel whitelabelling that bypasses ad blockers, coherent view of web + products, the attribution modelling! Also, great backlink hack via the Badge program - definitely a PLG hack that's worked. Overall I think I check this product out with my product growth team! Congrats @waq_azeem on the launch, and all the best!

Coming from the excellent team behind ContentStudio, you knew this was going to be great and it is‼️ Super simple use interface. Clean design. Great source of unified data from a team of developers that knows what this functionality should look like. Excited to use this and add it to my toolkit! Congratulations to the ContentStudio/Usernaven on your launch here today!

I would try it, but we're using Segment to connect any analytics services. @waq_azeem are there any plans for Segment support?
Muhammad Azhar
@sergey_kizim Our segment integration is in private beta. We'll be releasing it within a week or so.

One of the smartest tools... I've shifted a couple of clients from GA4 to UserMaven! Waqar has a history of building nice products, listening to customer feedback and improving them on a regular basis!

I've been using Usermaven for about a month and am very happy with it. Like Waqar says in his note, he built it because the other tools are too complicated to set up. This is especially true for an early stage startup that hasn't hit PMF yet. Usermaven is easy-to-setup and easy-to-use. It gives useful reports with minimal configuration. Best of all, for me, it supports both and allows me to separate reports for https://clockk.com (our public, marketing site) and https://app.clockk.com (our actual app). Most tools just blur these together and make reporting on them individually really hard. I look forward to expanding my use of Usermaven.

This is absolutely one of my favorite tools in our whole tech stack, big compliments to @waq_azeem and the Usermaven team 🙌 Product wise, it's user friendly, robust, fast, full-featured and last but not least: 100% privacy focussed. Making it a perfect replacement for Google Analytics and tools like Mixpanel. It's as good as Fathom Analytics, but offers many more features and data points. Besides a powerful product, the performance of the team is also outstanding. There are little SAAS companies I know that launch new features so often. And I'm talking about Major Features here! Amazing job team, keep up the fantastic work 👏

Congratulations on the launch guys. Lot's of people looking at their analytics solutions right now so great timing.
Stefan Glumpler
We've ditched GA and are now using Usermaven on all our sites. Great analytics platform and founders!
Waqar Azeem
@shabushabu Thanks for using Usermaven!

I have been using other tools created by @waq_azeem it is just amazing! Now he has come up with an alternative to Google Analytics. I have tried and it is just amazing! Congrats and all the very best @waq_azeem and team!
Daniel Kimber
Wow this looks amazing!! I was looking for something just like this - can I build funnel charts like in GA that show where users navigate/what events they trigger sequentially?
Muhammad Azhar
@danielkimber Yes, you have the capability to design funnels using a sequence of triggered events, as well as arranging them in a strictly defined order.

I have been using Usermaven since the beginning, and I am a big fan of its simplicity, easy-to-use dashboard, reports, and other features. It provides everything we need from an analytics tool. Congratulations on your Product Hunt launch.
Dr Manoj Kishore Nayak
I rely on Usermaven as my go-to tool for monitoring my blog and website traffic on a daily basis. What makes it truly remarkable is its seamless setup process, allowing me to effortlessly configure conversion goals across various sources. This enables me to determine the most successful content that drives results. Additionally, the Usermaven interface is visually appealing and user-friendly, enhancing the overall experience. In summary, Usermaven is an exceptional analytics product that delivers solid performance

Bought this tool two years ago. Very happy with the progress and use it on all of my sites. Reports are emailed to me weekly. UX of tool is very nice. Developer is nice and also helped me get started with the tool.
Andres Sanchez
Usermaven is a good alternative to GA, but still have things to improve. One thing is translation to other languages, I love how reports are simple to view and very concise, but my clients don't understand them as they are in english.
Muhammad Azhar
@andres_sanchez4 We are working on it and most probably by this year, we will have language translation available.
Sajwal Pageni
Usermaven is a great tool, been using it for months! Their free plan is very generous and hope everyone gives it a shot to see what Usermaven is about. Best wishes to the team!
Mitch Zenger
