Hey Product Hunters 😻 We're excited to be back on Product Hunt and share a whole new product feature that we've recently released at Uxcel. Design Skill Tests are finally here! Our mission has always been to create an inclusive, accessible, and affordable way to launch a design career. Being able to prove your design knowledge with Skill Tests is a big part of that goal. Since we released Skill Tests to the community, they have become extremely popular. Here are some of the initial stats since we’ve been in beta: 💥 25K+ tests taken 🧠 1M+ questions answered ⏱ 5K+ hours tested Uxcel Design Skill Tests are becoming a great tool to benchmark your UX skills against the entire Uxcel community. Test your general design knowledge with the Verified Designer test, or drill down into specific skills like Color Theory, Accessibility, and design tools like Figma and Sketch. We provide detailed analytics so you know where your skills are strongest compared with others who have taken the same tests, and where there’s room for improvement. With Skill Tests, we’re creating a cycle of testing and improving your design knowledge and skills. You can retake each test once per month as you learn more and your skills improve, then proudly share your results with employers and on social media. We’re thrilled to be on PH today, and I’m looking forward to all the feedback and constructive criticism that comes with debuting a new product feature. Every time we’ve been on Product Hunt, we’re left with a ton of new ideas and areas to improve upon. Thank you so much for your time, and looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

That's the first tool I recommend to my friends who want to start their career in design. Uxcel doesn't intimidate beginners and makes learning feel like a game. But advanced designers can also benefit from this app! You can find here a lot of info and resources to investigate and skill tests for assessing your skills. Your CV and linkedin page looks much cooler when you have a certificate proving you ACTUALLY passed the test and know accessibility in design or anything else. Keep going, guys! 💛

Go ahead guys! I saw your beginning and I see your result after these years. It's brilliant! Thanks to you, our designer market is getting stronger. Thanks to Uxcel, assessing the skills of designers will become the order of the day when hiring

Anytime my students or professional acquaintances ask me for resources to improve their product design or research skills, I always mention Uxcel on the top of the list. Fun, intuitive and relevant, learning with Uxcel has always been a pleasure and thanks to them I have considerably improved my skills. Icing on the cake, I was honored to collaborate with the team on the test about Maze. It was an opportunity to see how great people are behind great products 🧠 💪 You can be proud, thanks for everything 💜

What a great way to keep that imposter syndrome in check while filling in the the gaps in one designing skills. Fantastic! Congratulations on the launch 💎
Gene Kamenets

I love this product, its fun, it has a lovely intuitive way for me to move through topics I know and am familiar with and at the same time provide me with detail and depth into the ones Im not. I feel it is focused on helping me learn, many other platforms or courses are obsessed with over complexity and too much theory which feels self-indulgent and acts as a barrier to knowledge transfer. Congratulations and well done, I look forward to watching your product grow. @eugene_kamenets @colin_pace
Gene Kamenets
@peter_lumley Appreciate the feedback, Peter 🔥 The interactivity and the bite-sized approach is at our core, so I'm happy to hear you value so much. Thx!
Mindaugas Navickas
I like the way the tests are built. For example, if you want, you can read the theory and then take a test or just start the test of the topic you are interested in straight away and read the theory after every question! It has a variety of different styles of learning! Would like to see more community involvement in the tests. For example, you could challenge someone or something similar! Keep it going Uxcel team!
Gene Kamenets
@navickas Amazing idea about challenging your colleagues. We'll definitely explore it, thx for the feedback 💪
