Venture Capital X — Democratizing access to early pre-IPO equity opportunities

By working with only one small group of investors, we are focusing all our time and energy on sourcing and doing due diligence on the best deals for a single audience instead of pumping out deals just for the purpose of raising as much as possible. What's the difference between VCX and companies such as EquityZen you may ask? To start with, deals sourced by VCX are exclusive and early stage. These deals have traditionally been funded by VCs, angels or high net worth individuals meaning no retail investor would have access at this stage. In addition, we have strict due diligence criteria for deals that we source and as such, many deals get declined allowing us to pour resources into the best deals we find. Finally, EquityZen companies are likely later staged, have already been funded to some degree and people are "papered up" trying to offload their shares in private companies to the public. The smart contract is built for our partnered brokerage firms to access the VCX dashboard and track who owns VCX NFTs and how much they are entitled to invest based on how many NFTs they are holding. Many of you will probably ask, "Aren’t these NFTs securities?". We have spent months with our legal team working on how to keep our community protected. VCX is not selling securities. Our platform is built on the blockchain for the purpose of only allowing VCX holders to access our brokers and their deals. Cardholders can show interest directly in deals that our partners post on our dashboard and then all funding is done ‘off-chain’ through our brokers following securities laws for regulation, safety and compliance. We have partnered with firms we know can source high-quality deals and handle the traffic of several thousand users wanting to invest in pre-IPO companies in the early stages.
