Veritel keeps your personal phone number private with real, PHYSICAL numbers.
Stop spam calls and texts, sign up or verify accounts with peace of mind, and stay in control of your privacy—no more leaks, no more stress.
Hey folks,
I’m Dany, and I’m thrilled to introduce Veritel.io to you.
There was a time when your phone number was truly private; a piece of information you shared cautiously. Even today, if a stranger asks for your number, you might hesitate. Ask for a social media handle? No problem.
But somewhere along the way, companies have started to think that getting your phone number is standard and expected. And most of us comply without a second thought.
The result? Your number becomes a key to your identity. Combined with the other information you provide, companies can build a perfect profile of you and in most cases, sell it. The impact is clear: spam texts, endless calls from unknown numbers, and a growing sense of frustration.
Remember that hesitation you feel every time you’re asked for your number? That’s exactly why we created Veritel.io. We believe privacy shouldn’t be a compromise. Veritel.io provides virtual numbers for online registrations, keeping your personal number private and shielding you from spam. Whether you’re signing up for an app, verifying an account, or just trying to stay anonymous, Veritel.io puts control back into your hands.
Veritel.io is designed to protect your privacy and ensure your digital communication is secure and hassle-free. No more spam. No more worrying about where your information ends up.
Today, we’re launching on Product Hunt, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this journey with you. If privacy, security, and efficiency are as important to you as they are to us, we’d love for you to check out Veritel.io.
Let us know your thoughts. We’re here to listen, improve, and grow with you.
Stay anonymous. Stay secure. With Veritel.io
This can sure be very useful!
I think you should better point out that it's based on real physical SIMs here, I wondered what the difference is between other virtual numbers before looking at your website.
Are the SIMs/numbers re-used between users?
Could one really on it for 2FA (e.g. for a case where a number from another country is required)?
@konrad_sx Hey Konrad!
Thanks for the tip. Yeah, all our numbers, except for Canada, are based on physical SIMs.
To answer your question, each number is only ever used once for a specific service. A number can still be used for different apps (e.g., Google if Netflix has already been used), but never the same one twice. We achieve this by filtering all incoming SMS. Because of this, our service isn’t limited to apps that use 2FA, as we ensure your number is never reused.
Honestly Dany, you're really hitting a pain point here - I myself have had 4 new numbers in the last few years as I've been hit so badly with people getting my phone number & spam calling.
Wish I had come across Veritel sooner!! Very smooth UI & the video is seriously clean.
Best of luck w/ the launch, excited to see how this continues!!
@cranqnow Thank you for the support Sam! And I know where you are coming from; 4 Numbers sounds like a pain, having to update it on all your important platforms.
You will never need to do that again with Veritel!
Veritel is a game-changer! The innovative approach to [specific feature/technology] truly sets it apart. I love how user-friendly the interface is, making it accessible even for those new to this space. Excited to see how Veritel evolves and helps streamline [industry/sector] processes. Wishing the team all the best for their journey!
@sentry_co Thanks for the Support André! Our pricing depends on the country and service being used. We have a standard rate of $1 for any service created by our AI, but for the rest, it is more complex.
If you create a free account, you'll be able to see all the prices. It ranges from as low as $0.05 to as much as $7.
Really cool! Curious though, reading the website it says a number is valid for 15 minutes. If we assign a virtual number to a service for authentication, then later down the road need to authenticate again using that same number, what would happen? Could we activate that number again to receive the message? Thanks and look forward to trying it out!
Very much needed especially now that companies in order to combat fraud or bots are forced to ask for phone numbers as last resort but at the cost of user's privacy
This is such an innovative solution! Can't wait to see how it performs in real-world applications. Kudos to the team behind Veritel for tackling such an important issue. Definitely upvoting this one! 🚀
This service is a game-changer! I use Veritel.io for all my SMS verification over the last year, and it’s been flawless. The interface is clean, and my spam calls and unwanted texts have been reduced. Was quite excited to see it on this platform
